Everton are next in action on the road against Southampton next Sunday in the Premier League. Liverpool play their next outing in the Champions League away to Ajax on Wednesday.
Everton and Liverpool play out a thrilling 2-2 draw in the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park. Sadio Mane put the Reds ahead, but Michael Keane dragged the home side level with a powerful header. Mohamed Salah scored a sublime volley, only for Liverpool to be pegged back again by Dominic Calvert-Lewin with nine minutes remaining. Richarlison was then dismissed for a reckless challenge on Thiago Alcantara, reducing Everton to 10 men. Jordan Henderson believed that he had won the game for Jurgen Klopp's men, but VAR deemed that Mane was offside in the build-up, disallowing the strike. It was honours even, and the Toffees remain unbeaten in the Premier League this term.
90' + 7' SAVE! James angles his delivery to the back post for Calvert-Lewin. He connects with his header, but Adrian makes the save at his back post.
90' + 6' Iwobi wins a free-kick from a loose challenge from Robertson. James has a chance to send a free-kick into the box in the dying seconds.
90' + 3' DISALLOWED GOAL! Oh my goodness. There is drama a plenty at the death at Goodison Park. VAR overules a winner for Liverpool. Henderson latches on to Mane's cutback and he just has enough power on his strike to beat Pickford, who gets a hand to it, but cannot stop the ball crossing the line. However, the video assistant denies the Reds as Mane was offside by a fraction on the left flank. Gutting for the visitors.
90' + 3' Liverpool have the ball in the net as Henderson places a strike past Pickford, but VAR will have a second look at the incident.
90' + 1' Everton vs Liverpool has seen the most red cards in Premier League history (22), with Everton's 15 red cards in this fixture also a record for one team against another in the competition.

90' There will be five minutes of added time.

D. Calvert-Lewin

Calvert-Lewin rises between Gomez and Robertson, and directs his header away from the Liverpool keeper into the bottom-left corner.

76' Salah almost breaks into the box to carve out a strike at goal, but Keane reacts ahead of the forward to steer the ball out for a corner.
75' Calvert-Lewin almost latches on to a ball over the top, but Matip does just enough to edge out the England man in the Liverpool box.
73' Salah has scored his 100th goal in his 159th game for Liverpool in all competitions - only Roger Hunt and Jack Parkinson have reached the milestone in fewer appearances for the Reds.
G. Sigurðsson
André Gomes
72' Sigurdsson replaces Gomes for the home side.
Mohamed Salah
72' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! SALAH BLASTS HOME A STRIKE!!!! 2-1 LIVERPOOL!! The Reds regain the lead through a fine strike from the Egyptian. Henderson lifts a cross into the box from the right and Mina fails to clear the danger, sending it straight into the path of Salah. 57' Firmino tries to weave his way through traffic on the edge of the Everton box, but he gets crowded out before the can threaten.
56' Robertson is okay to continue for the visitors, which will be a massive relief to his manager on the sideline.

46' We're back underway at Goodison Park.
Jurgen Klopp will feel that his side should be well ahead in the contest. They've played excellent football, but have lacked a cutting edge in the final third. He will also not be happy with the decision of the referee and VAR not to dismiss Pickford. Van Dijk was offside, but it was a poor challenge to say the least from the Everton keeper - he was lucky not to be red carded.
It's all square at the break in the Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool. The Reds took the lead in the third minute following a well-worked move, which resulted in Sadio Mane converting from close range. Jordan Pickford was fortunate to remain on the pitch after clattering Virgil van Dijk. The Dutchman was forced to leave the field after the challenge. Carlo Ancelotti's men capitalised to level the scores through Michael Keane's header. Liverpool have been the better side, but the game is in the balance.
45' + 2' Adrian is far from convincing as he tips Gomes' cross from the left over the bar. However, the Toffees are unable to threaten from the resulting set-piece.
45' + 1' Mina and Godfrey are on point at the back for the Toffees to head clear. First from Alexander-Arnold's cross and then Thiago's follow up strike. Everton are putting bodies on the line in their own box.
45' There will be four minutes of added time.
J. Rodríguez
Yellow Card
45' James brings down Mane on the left flank and goes into the book.

36' BLOCK! Godfrey puts his body on the line at the back to deny Salah on the turn after he latches on to Thiago's chip over the top.
34' CHANCE! Mane, Firmino and Robertson combine to create an opening for the Sengalese. Mane starts the move with a jink and offload towards Firmino. He then slides a pass to Robertson in space, who picks out the run of Mane in the middle. The forward tries to guide his strike towards goal, but he skews it wide of the right post.
33' WIDE! Mane works the ball back to Thiago on the edge of the box. He lines up a drive, but places his effort just wide of the target.
32' Mina has to make an important intervention in the box to steer away Robertson's cross away from Salah lurking in the middle.
B. Godfrey
S. Coleman
31' Coleman is withdrawn for the home side with a hamstring complaint and is replaced by the debutant Godfrey.
31' Only Calvert-Lewin (9) and Richarlison (4) have scored more goals for Everton in all competitions this season than Keane (3).

28' Alexander-Arnold floats the free-kick into the box, but the Everton defence is solid and Gomes heads clear.

21' Allan loses the ball in his own half and it allows Mane to tee up Salah on the edge of the box. However, the Egyptian can only send a weak effort straight at Pickford.

17' Calvert-Lewin takes the ball down brillianly for a lofted pass over the top. He turns to shoot, but sends a tame effort straight at Adrian.
16' Mane continues to torment the Everton midfield and backline. He charges between Allan and Doucoure, winning a free-kick for a foul by the latter.
13' CHANCES! Liverpool continue to press in the final third. Firmino sees a strike blocked before Pickford punches away the loose ball. The visitors regroup and Robertson steers a cross towards Firmino, but he glances his header over the bar.
12' OVER! Digne digs out a cross from the left flank towards the rising Calvert-Lewin in the middle, but he can only glance his header over the bar.
J. Gomez
V. van Dijk
11' Gomez replaces Van Dijk in the middle of the Liverpool defence.
9' Van Dijk is walking away towards the Liverpool dressing room. His involvement in the game appears to be over.
8' Van Dijk receives treatment on the pitch and is helped away down the sidelines by the Liverpool medical staff. A concern for Klopp in the early stages.
7' A VAR check confirms that Van Dijk is just a fraction offside from Fabinho's cross, saving Everton from conceding a penalty and perhaps a red card for Pickford.
6' Van Dijk attempts to latch on to a cross at the back post, but gets clattered by Pickford. The Dutchman is offside, but is still on the receiving end of a tough challenge. Pickford is very fortunate that Van Dijk just strayed there.
5' Mane angles a cross into the box from the left flank towards the late run of Henderson. The Liverpool skipper cannot make a clean connection with his effort, allowing Digne to clear behind.
