Commentary

That's all from us, we hope you enjoyed the game. Until the next one, goodbye!
That three-goal win sees Arsenal rise to Group A's summit, with Mikel Arteta's men two points clear of PSV in second having won two from two thus far. Bodo/Glimt are overtaken by PSV, who beat Zurich 5-1 in the corresponding fixture, and now lie third, but with a performance such as that in the second half, they are still more than capable of qualifying for the knockout stage.
His opener set the course for Arsenal's victory, and for the rest of the time he was on the pitch, Eddie Nketiah was a crucial part of the Gunners' attack. In 82 minutes, he managed one goal, slightly less than his xG of 1.14, and had four shots from eight touches in the box, was involved in three big chances, and contested 12 duels, four of which came aerially. Target.
The full-time whistle goes, as Arsenal power to the top of Group A! After an unconvincing first-half, Bodo threw everything they had at the Gunners' defence in the second, and went very close to finding a reply on several occasions! However, Arsenal's grip tightened with the introduction of several substitutes, one of whom played a key role in their third goal. Jesus' dancing assist for Vieira's finish sealed it for Arsenal, and despite Bodo's spirited performance, the Gunners record their second successive Europa League victory.
90' + 4' FULL-TIME: ARSENAL 3-0 BODO/GLIMT.
90' + 3' BLOCKED!!! Odegaard dinks a lofted pass through to Nelson in the box, whose off-balance shot is blocked by Moe for the visitors!
90' + 2' OFF THE LINE!!! Pellegrino surges through midfield before finding Salvesen to his left. He crosses for Saltnes, whose shot on the turn is only half-saved by Turner, with Holding having to clear it off the line!
90' We'll play three minutes of added time at the end of this match.
89' Nelson crosses to the back post, where White arrives late, but he can't get a shot or pass away before Wembangomo robs him of the ball and clears it!
L. Salvesen
R. Espejord
Bodø / Glimt
88' Espejord is also withdrawn late, with Lars-Jorgen Salvesen coming on up front.
M. Høibråten
M. Lode
Bodø / Glimt
88' Lode comes off too in a triple change for the visitors, and Marius Hoibraten takes his place in the side.
M. Konradsen
A. Sampsted
Bodø / Glimt
88' Sampsted has been one of Bodo's brightest performers, particularly in this half, but comes off now for Morten Konradsen to see out the game.
87' OVER!!! Gabriel rises highest at the corner and heads a good effort into the ground, and the ball bounces past Haikin before going over the bar!
86' BLOCKED!!! Jesus drives forward before feeding Nelson, who cuts inside from the left and hits a powerful shot goalwards, before a crucial Sampsted block sends it wide!
Gabriel Jesus
Assist
Arsenal
84' Absolutely magical from the foot of Jesus there, and many Arsenal fans will have memories of one Thierry Henry pulling off similar tricks to beat a defender or two, just as Jesus did there!
Fábio Vieira
Goal
Arsenal
84' GOOOOAAAAALLLL!!!! That'll seal it!!! Tomiyasu's throw to Jesus sees him hold of the challenge of Sampsted, before jinking inside Moe, and cutting the ball back to Vieira who fires into the roof of the net!!! A superbly engineered goal, and the mercurial work of Jesus and Vieira puts Arsenal 3-0 up with full-time approaching!
R. Nelson
E. Nketiah
Arsenal
82' Nketiah's opener got Arsenal on their way in a game they still look extremely likely to win, and the striker comes off for Reiss Nelson to see out the final few minutes.
81' In all European competition, Bodo/Glimt have won just one of their last 13 away matches, a 3-1 victory at Celtic in February 2022. They’ve also kept just one clean sheet in this run, a goalless draw at CSKA Sofia last season.
79' OVER!!! Odegaard plays a great throughball forward for Nketiah to chase, and the striker runs onto it before firing past an onrushing Haikin and over the bar!
78' Pellegrino whips a free-kick into the box and it's headed into the air by Tomiyasu, but Turner climbs high to claim the ball and snuff out any threat of a Bodo chance.
76' Gronbaek whips a crossed ball towards Espejord, but Holding heads it back towards his own goal, and Turner is only just able to prevent a corner being conceded!
75' Sampsted does well to dispossess Tomiyasu, but the ball is immediately latched onto by Saka, who is forced wide by the Bodo/Glimt right-back and puts the ball behind for a goal kick.
A. Grønbæk
H. Vetlesen
Bodø / Glimt
73' Vetlesen has also been impressive in midfield, but he comes off now for Albert Gronbaek.
O. Solbakken
J. Mvuka
Bodø / Glimt
73' Mvuka's been dynamic and dangerous, particularly in this half, but has lacked that crucial end-product, and he comes off now, with Bodo hoping his replacement Ola Solbakken can make an even greater impact.
72' OVER!!! Espejord turns on the edge of the box and shoots, but it's blocked by Gabriel. Espejord recycles possession and finds Saltnes to his left, who cuts inside and curls a decent effort beyond both Turner and the crossbar!
B. White
K. Tierney
Arsenal
70' Tierney's off in Arsenal's next change, and is replaced in defence by Ben White.
70' Tomiyasu and Pellegrino tussle on the right edge of the Arsenal box, and despite it appearing to be a free-kick to the visitors, the referee instead gives it Arsenal's way!
68' They're still trailing, and haven't tested Turner anywhere near enough to get back into the game, but Bodo/Glimt have had an impressive 56.1 per cent of the ball in the second half, up from 48 per cent in the first. They're keeping it well, but need to take more risks if they're to grab at least one goal.
66' Arsenal have failed to win any of their last three home matches in European competition, their worst run since going six home games without a victory between October 2002 and September 2003, but as things stand, that poor run of form is coming to an end!
64' Bodo break once more and Mvuka has another chance to cut inside. He's got plenty of time to shoot, but aims to find Sampsted on an overlapping run, but Tierney again cleans up for the Gunners!
62' A promising-looking Arsenal free-kick comes to nothing, and the visitors surge forward on the break. Pellegrino knocks the ball past Lokonga, but his throughball to the unmarked Espejord is cut out by Tierney!
60' After Lode's rushed clearance puts Bodo under pressure, Odegaard picks out Nketiah down the left byline. He cuts the ball back for Tierney, but Moe cuts out the pass and smashes the ball clear!
Gabriel Jesus
Gabriel Martinelli
Arsenal
59' A triple change coming for Arsenal, with Martinelli first off for his prolific Brazil compatriot Gabriel Jesus.
B. Saka
Marquinhos
Arsenal
59' Marquinhos is also off, with England wideman Bukayo Saka entering the fray.
M. Ødegaard
G. Xhaka
Arsenal
58' Captain replaces captain in Arsenal's third change, as Xhaka comes off for Norway international Martin Odegaard.
57' SAVED!!! Mvuka and Vetlesen both attempt low crosses to the six-yard box, but are denied by Arsenal blocks. On the latter occasion though, Pellegrino latches onto the ball and fires a low shot through the crowd, which Turner sees late and does well to keep out!
56' Bodo counter once more and the ball comes out to Mvuka. He takes a heavy touch but manages to retain control, before Xhaka flies in to beat both him and Vetlesen to the ball!
54' OVER!!! A poor ball out of Arsenal's defence is latched onto by Berg, who feeds Saltnes. He turns for goal and shoots from the edge of the box, but sends the ball over the crossbar!
A. Sampsted
Yellow Card
Bodø / Glimt
53' Sampsted catches Martinelli late and leaves the Arsenal winger in a heap on the touchline, with the Bodo right-back receiving a yellow card from the referee.
52' WIDE!!! Bodo break at speed as Berg carries the ball through midfield. He passes wide to Mvuka, who cuts inside and fires a low cross towards the back post, but Espejord can't get to it and the ball rolls wide!
51' SAVED!!! The visitors come forward and Pellegrino finds Vetlesen advancing to the edge of the box. He snatches at a shot, and the low effort is held by Turner!
49' After a few tetchy minutes on the ball inside his own half, Moe bypasses Nketiah and looks to play in Espejord. Holding cuts it out, but then he puts his goalkeeper under pressure with a poor back-pass, and Turner hoofs it down the other end!
47' Risky passing at the back from Bodo puts Haikin under all sorts of pressure, and he's forced into a rushed clearance with Nketiah bearing down on him. As if the goalkeeper hasn't already had enough to deal with!
46' SAVED!!! Martinelli gets around the outside of Mvuka and pulls the ball back to Xhaka, whose close-range shot is parried by Haikin! Marquinhos attempts to head in the rebound, but puts it wide of the post!
46' Bodo/Glimt kick off the second half, and the game resumes!
The teams are back out for the second half, and can the visitors mount an unlikely comeback in North London?
Vieira has been everywhere for Arsenal in midfield, setting up Holding's goal and having several chances to bag one himself. He finished the half with a shot on target from four attempts, as well as three key passes. He's completed his passes at a 100 per cent success rate thus far, also connecting with two crosses, and has had five touches in the box, winning possession twice in the final third too.
The first half ends, with Arsenal in control of the scoreline thanks to two back-to-back goals from Nketiah and Holding. Since then, they've had Bodo at arm's length, and have only been prevented from adding to their lead thanks to some impressive saves from Haikin in the visitors' goal.
45' + 1' HALF-TIME: ARSENAL 2-0 BODO/GLIMT.
45' + 1' Mvuka cuts inside from the right and plays a one-two with Vetlesen before shooting from the edge of the box, but Gabriel's block sends it looping away and Tomiyasu clears!
45' We'll play a minute's worth of added time to close out the first half.
43' WIDE!!!! Xhaka's cut-back from the byline is dummied by Nketiah, and Vieira strikes it from the edge of the box. It looks a certain goal, but the ball creeps just to the wrong side of Haikin's left post!
G. Xhaka
Yellow Card
Arsenal
41' Xhaka loses out to Berg in midfield, and whilst on the floor, sticks out an arm to prevent a pass being played beyond him! A risky move from the Arsenal captain to say the least, who is very lucky to still be on the pitch after that!
40' BLOCKED!!! Marquinhos cuts inside and shoots from the edge of the box, but it takes a wicked deflection off Berg and goes behind for a corner!
38' WIDE!!! Forward come Bodo and Pellegrino finds Mvuka wide to his right. The forward gets the ball back and looks to place a shot in the bottom corner, but puts his effort wide of the post!
38' CHANCE!!! Nketiah picks the pocket of Moe and bears down on goal. He looks to play in the unmarked Martinelli, but the pass is blocked by Lode and Haikin gathers!
37' WIDE!!! Tierney races onto Xhaka's lay-off and tries his luck from the edge of the box, but it's a woeful effort that skews well wide of the intended target!
36' Haikin comes for Marquinhos' corner but is trapped amidst a crowd of players and gets nowhere near the ball. Tomiyasu hooks the loose ball back across goal, but Nketiah fouls Moe as he attempts to control it and the visitors get a reprieve.
35' SAVED!!!! Xhaka steps up and strikes the free-kick, and it's a powerful effort that Haikin only just manages to tip over!
B. Wembangomo
Yellow Card
Bodø / Glimt
33' Gabriel's ball to Nketiah looks good, but is cut out on the edge of the box. Bodo struggle to clear it though, and Wembangomo accidentally handles the ball right on the edge of the area, handing Arsenal a free-kick in a good shooting position.
31' The four minutes between Nketiah and Holding's goals is the fastest time between strikes for Arsenal so far this season, just edging out the six minutes Martin Odegaard took to score twice in against Crystal Palace on the opening day of the Premier League season.
29' After a rather cagey, and fairly sluggish, start to this match, Arsenal have truly kicked into gear now, and are cruising following those two quick-fire goals.
Fábio Vieira
Assist
Arsenal
27' It was a decent enough delivery from Vieira from the corner, but after it was easily headed away, he more than made up for it with a perfect cross for his centre-back!
R. Holding
Goal
Arsenal
27' GOOOOAAAAALLLL!!! It's 2-0!!! Arsenal double their lead in no time at all as Vieira's initial corner is headed away. He swings it back in from the edge of the box, and Holding escapes his marker to nod the ball beyond Haikin at the back post! The Gunners have firm control over this game now!
26' SAVED!!! Marquinhos intercepts a poor pass out of defence by Lode and Vieira races onto it. He looks to lift a shot over Haikin, but the Bodo goalkeeper rushes out and parries it wide!
25' That's Nketiah's second goal of the season in the Europa League so far, and he also scored the last goal for the Gunners in their 2-1 win over Zurich last time out!
E. Nketiah
Goal
Arsenal
23' GOOOOAAAAALLLLL!!!! There it is!!! Arsenal burst forward at speed and Martinelli finds Tierney wide to his left. He lashes a shot across goal from the edge of the box, which smashes off the far post, and Nketiah reacts quickest to tap the ball home!!! 1-0 to the Arsenal, and it's a goal that you can sense has certainly been on the cards!
22' Martinelli crosses for Marquinhos, who brings the ball under control in the box, but can't quite find the space to have a shot before he's dispossessed!
20' CHANCE!!! Xhaka puts Nketiah through down the left side of the box, and his square ball to Marquinhos is parried away by Haikin!
18' Tomiyasu attempts to find his opposite full-back with a cross-field pass, but the aerial ball is behind Tierney and goes out over the sideline! Nothing really seems to be working for Arsenal at the moment.
16' Xhaka is in space on the left byline, but overhits his cross and the ball bounces over the opposite touchline for a Bodo throw.
14' Bodo have never previously faced an English side in European competition. They have faced two British sides before, eliminating Celtic in last season’s Europa Conference League play-off, and Linfield in this season’s Champions League qualifying.
12' Nketiah flies forward on the break for Arsenal, but plays a poor pass inside to Martinelli, who is dispossessed almost as soon as he gets the ball!
11' This is the first ever European meeting between Arsenal and Bodo/Glimt. The Gunners have faced three Norwegian sides previously – Stromsgodset, Rosenborg, and Molde – winning five of six such matches.
9' SAVED!!!! Vieira's back on, and following Tierney's cross into the middle, the ball flicks up to him. He chests it down before smashing a half-volley, which is brilliantly tipped over the bar by Haikin!
8' After picking up an injury whilst attempting to shoot, Vieira heads to the sideline for further treatment.
7' Mvuka races down the right, spinning away from Tierney and Xhaka, before cutting inside and losing out to Gabriel!
5' WIDE!!! Nketiah glides past Vetlesen before shooting from the edge of the box, but can't quite place his effort into the top corner as it curls wide of the far post!
4' Gabriel attempts to find Martinelli running into the box, but overhits his pass and the ball rolls behind for a Glimt goal kick.
2' Tierney's cross into the box is brought down by Vieira, who looks to place a shot in the bottom corner, but it's blocked by Moe!
1' Nketiah kicks off for Arsenal, and we are underway at the Emirates!
The two sides come out onto the pitch, and this top-of-the-table clash in Group A isn't far away now!
Bodo/Glimt’s Amahl Pellegrino has scored 23 goals in all competitions for the Norwegian side this season and starts on the left wing, hoping to cause problems for Arsenal’s right-side defence.
Marquinhos’ opener and Eddie Nketiah’s winner secured Arsenal the three points in Zurich, and both start for the Gunners in this game. They are joined in the front three by Gabriel Martinelli on the left and supported in midfield by captain Granit Xhaka, who scored Arsenal’s third in their derby win over Tottenham.
