South Africa edged out Mozambique 2-1 in Thursday's international friendly match which was played at Mbombela Stadium.
Bongokuhle Hlongwane's brace saw Bafana Bafana come from behind to overcome the Mambas who had taken an early lead through Nelson Divrassone.
Hlongwane was not the only Bafana player who had a good match as the likes of Miguel Timm and Themba Zwane were also influential.
GOAL runs the rule over the individual performances of the South Africa players.
Surprisingly shaky between the sticks.
The Bafana captain's passing was poor - giving away possession twice and he was lucky not to be punished on each occasion. However, he can't be blamed for Divrassone's goal.
Endured a slow start to the game.
Mobbie was initially kept busy by the Mozambican attackers and he was not offering much going forward. However, he improved after the restart and he provided the assist for the equalizing goal and his cross nearly led to an own-goal.
Decent display.
Modiba was solid defensively and he regularly pushed forward into the opposition's half where he delivered some good crosses into the visitors' box.
Unconvincing display.
De Reuck was sloppy in defence and was at fault for Mambas' goal giving away possession to Divrassone who scored. He was rarely troubled after the restart with Bafana dominating the game.
Struggled to cope with Mozambique's press early on.
However, Kekana improved as the game wore on. He made some good recoveries and was strong in the air.
Impressive performance on his Bafana debut.
Timm ran things from the centre of the park, controlling the pace for Bafana and laying some excellent balls from over the top to get the hosts on the front foot.
Not at his best on the night.
Mokoena burst forward on a couple of occasions in the first half to link up with his forwards, but nothing meaningful came off them.
Man of the Match.
Hlongwane displayed good positioning and predatory instinct in the opposition's box and he grabbed two well taken goals.
Targeted by the Mozambicans, but he still played well.
Zwane was chief architect of South Africa's victory with his incisive movement and good combination play. He provided the assist for the winning goal.
It was a quiet game for a man who has had an excellent campaign for Orlando Pirates.
Saleng got himself good into positions in the opposition's box, but he was let down by some poor finishing as he was easily denied by goalkeeper Ivane, twice.
Full of running.
However, clear-cut chances didn't fall for Lepasa on the night, but he did well to press the opposition's defenders and rushed them into making mistakes.
Came on in the 70th minute and he energized Bafana with his ambitious runs, while playing some lovely crosses with one of them nearly leading to an own goal.
Stuck to the basics after replacing Zwane as he won back possession and combined well with his teammates in midfield having been introduced in the 80th minute.
Made a few promising runs, but he didn't pose a real threat to Mambas defence.
Introduced in the 89th minute and it was too late to warrant a rating.
