Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rhulani Mokwena has gone with a largely unchanged side for Saturday's clash away to Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium.
The Tshwane giants are keen to do the double over the Glamour Boys as they seek a 12th straight league win and Mokwena has opted for experience with Grant Kekana preferred over Rushine De Reuck in defence.
GOAL looks at how the Brazilians are lining up in this Gauteng Derby encounter.

  1. GOALKEEPER - Ronwen Williams

The in-form shot-stopper saved Khama Billiat's penalty in the first round league clash as Sundowns hammered Chiefs 4-0 last August and he will be looking to keep his 13th league clean sheet of the season after being included in the starting XI.

  2. RIGHT-BACK - Khuliso Mudau

The Limpopo-born full-back remains Downs' first-choice right-back and will be eager to produce an improved performance having been given a hard time by Thapelo Maseko in Monday's clash against SuperSport United.

  3. LEFT-BACK - Aubrey Modiba

The Bafana Bafana defender has established himself as Sundowns' first-choice left-back in 2022-23 and Chiefs will be wary of him given his threat from set-pieces.

  4. CENTRE-BACK - Mothobi Mvala

Kekana has been preferred ahead of Rushine De Reuck who has been fantastic since he made his return to the starting line-up. The experienced Kekana will now be up against the league's joint-top scorer Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana.

  6. CENTRAL MIDFIELDER - Teboho Mokoena

The technically gifted midfielder is the glue that keeps Sundowns' midfield together and he will be looking to win the midfield battle in order to put his side in a good position to do the double over Amakhosi.

  7. CENTRAL MIDFIELDER - Marcelo Allende

The midfielder was not at his best on Monday, but coach Rhulani Mokwena has stuck with him with dominating the midfield key to winning the game.

The playmaker has become a permanent fixture in the starting line-up since Mokwena was appointed Sundowns' sole head coach last October due to his consistency and high work rate.

  9. LEFT FORWARD - Themba Zwane

The 2019-20 PSL Footballer of the Season tends to bring his 'A' game against the big boys and he has the ability to single-handedly inspire the Brazilians to victory over Chiefs with his vision and finishing.

  10. RIGHT FORWARD - Cassius Mailula

The in-form attacker, who grabbed his third assist of the season against SuperSport, has been redeployed to the right to accommodate Peter Shalulile in the starting XI.

The two-time PSL Golden Boot winner has looked sharp as a substitute in the last two matches but has been handed a starting berth, having grabbed a brace against Chiefs in the corresponding fixture.
