Richard Ofori - 7/10
Put in a good performance in goal and took his penalty very well during the shootout.
With Pirates dominating the game, Ofori was always alert whenever Berkane counterattacked and he made one save while dealing well with aerial balls.
However, he was well beaten when Youssef El Fahli scored from the spot kick in extra-time. - backpagepix
Bandile Shandu - 6.5/10
Ventured up and down the right-wing as usual and he was rarely tested defensively.
Shandu created several opportunities with his cut-back passes and crosses while also making a few runs into the Oranges' box which saw him force goalkeeper Hamza Hamiani into a fabulous save. -

Innocent Maela - 6/10
Decent display while operating as a left-back.
Maela was up against Chadrack Muuzungu and he contained the former Almeria winger, but the Pirates defender didn't offer much going forward. - Backpagepix
Happy Jele - 7/10
Solid at the heart of the Bucs defence.
Jele was instrumental in organizing Pirares' defence - barking out orders and winning his duels against Charki El Bahri. He converted Bucs' first penalty in the shootout. -

Olisa Ndah - 8.5/10
Sensational performance in his home ground, Nigeria.
Assigned to man-mark Berkane's dangerman El Fahli, who only scored from a spot-kick, and Ndah did the job very well keeping the attacker quiet in open play. No Berkane player was able to dribble past him even once in the game.
Ndah also caught the eye with his passing ability as he initiated some of Bucs' attacks with his accurate long and short passes. Definitely, one of the best centre backs based in Africa. - Backpagepix
Ben Motshwari - 6/10
Made a strong start to the game.
Motshwari was aggressive while operating as a defensive midfielder and he did win back possession with some strong tackles. He was substituted in the 90th minute while looking tired. - Backpagepix.
Goodman Mosele - 6.5/10
Influential in the middle of the park for the Buccaneers.
Mosele was the chief distributor of the ball for his side. He played some accurate passes, while also tracking back to help his teammate defend. - Backpagepix.
Kabelo Dlamini - 6/10
Played well on his return to the starting line-up - carrying balls from midfield into the attack.
Dlamini combined well with his teammates with some silky combinations on the edge of the penalty area. His sublime through pass sent Deon Hotto through on goal and the attacker was denied by Hamiani. -

Thembinkosi Lorch - 7.5/10
At his vintage best on the night and he was named Man of the Match.
Lorch looked threatening with the ball as he ran at defenders - unsettling the Berkane defence and he scored the equalising goal late in extra time. However, his poorly taken penalty was blocked by Hamiani in the shootout. - Backpagepix
Deon Hotto - 5.5/10
A livewire in the left flank, but his finishing was disappointing.
Hotto's elusive movement created problems for the Berkane defence and got himself in goalscoring positions which saw him miss two sitters. Bucs could have won the Confederation Cup if he had taken his chances. - Backpagepix
Kwame Peprah - 5/10
Silenced by the Oranges' defence.
Peprah failed to make a significant impact in proceedings after having a slow first half and he was substituted on the hour-mark. - Backpagepix
Tshegofatso Mabasa - 6/10
Replaced Peprah and he played much better than the Ghanaian striker as he got himself in good positions in the Berkane box which saw him narrowly miss the target with a glancing header.

Thabang Monare - 6/10
Unlucky to concede a penalty after coming on in the 90th minute and he played well as he changed the point of attack in midfield with some lovely passes. He also scored during the shootout.

Siphesihle Ndlovu - 5.5/10
Also came on in the 90th minute and he operated as a right back. He played well defensively as he stopped Berkane's counterattacks, but didn't offer much going forward.

Terrence Dzvukamanja - 5/10
Rarely touched the ball after being introduced in the 102nd minute.

Fortune Makaringe - 5/10
Also introduced in the 102nd minute and he could barely do much to influence the proceedings.

Linda Mntambo - 6.5/10
Made a few promising forward runs with the ball and he provided the assist for Lorch's goal with a flicked header having been introduced in the 105th minute.
