It is so far the blockbuster encounter of the 2023/24 PSL season and the biggest test for both traditional giants.

Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs will be under stern scrutiny when they clash in a Premier Soccer League match at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday.

After the Brazilians grinded a 2-1 win over Sekhukhune United last Friday, they were not convincing, even by coach Rhulani Mokwena’s admission and will be out to prove they are still ruthless.

Their opponents Chiefs are in an unfavourable situation after starting the season with a 0-0 draw against Chippa United.
