Mamelodi Sundowns recorded their eighth win in a row in the Premier Soccer League when they defeated Swallows FC 2-0 in Tuesday's clash.
Masandawana's attackers caught the eye as the hosts showed a never-give-up spirit having been frustrated by Amaswaiswai's stubborn defence during the match.
GOAL runs the rule over the individual performances of the Sundowns players.
Had little to do between the sticks against a defensive-minded Swallows side.
Williams made just one save throughout the game as he denied Kwanda Mngomanyana. Apart from that, the Sundowns shot-stopper was never seriously tested and he distributed the ball well.
His attacking game wasn't the best on the night.
However, Mudau made up for that with a fine showing in defence as he contained Gregory Damons when Swallows counter-attacked.
Handed a rare start and he tried his best.
Ngobeni showed exemplary work ethic, but the end-product was desperately lacking when Downs were attacking.
Looked good once again in central defence.
Mvala complemented Kekana well. He also neutralised 2018-19 PSL Golden Boot winner Mwape Musonda who was introduced in the second-half.
Good defensive display
Kekana cleaned up everything in front of him while showing his leadership skills. He also made well-time interceptions and clearances.
Reliable shield.
Mokoena flourished in his role as a defensive midfielder - winning back possession and distributing the ball effectively.
Decent display.
Allende probed the spaces in the Swallows midfield and looked to feed the Sundowns attackers which he did. He is getting used to his central midfield role.
Brilliant performance.
Maema created many chances for his attacking cohorts thanks to his vision and passing ability. The Man of the Match broke the deadlock with a fantastic finish.
Impressed with his sharp movement.
Sirino made some incisive runs which unsettled the Swallows defence throughout the game and he came close to scoring from close range after sneaking past his marker.
The heartbeat of Downs' attack.
Zwane's link-up play and dribbling skills helped Sundowns cut open the Swallows defence. He scored a fantastic goal after a wonderful team move.
Played very well on his return to the starting line-up.
Mailula excelled in his role as a false number nine as roamed around and dropped back into deeper positions to receive the ball and link up play. He provided the assist for Zwane's goal.
He went forward to help out offensively, but his crosses were largely inaccurate having been introduced in the 69th minute.
Thrown in to add more firepower to Downs' attack when he came on in the 69th minute, but struggled to break down Swallows defence.
Brought much energy and guile when he came in the 74th minute which saw him take a few shots which were blocked.
Introduced in the 84th minute and it was too late to warrant a rating.
Came on at the same time as Jali.
