Watch: Grealish gesture makes Man City fan’s day with pre-match shirt signing

Jack Grealish is as classy off the pitch as he is on it, with the Manchester City star going out of his way to give Blues supporter Abbie Pinder a moment to remember ahead of an FA Cup clash with Fulham.
The England international was in fourth-round action for the Blues at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, with Pep Guardiola’s side recovering from falling behind inside four minutes to prevail 4-1 on the day.
Grealish started that contest, taking in 77 minutes of action, with all of the City fans in attendance given something to shout about.

What happened before kick-off?
Prior to City lining up against Fulham, Grealish met up with Pinder after arriving at the Etihad.
Rather than rushing straight through reception and into the dressing rooms, the 26-year-old took the time to meet one of his biggest fans.
Grealish was happy to put a special message and his signature on a No.10 shirt, before also handing out a pre-match hug and photo opportunity.
The most expensive player in British football – having made a £100 million ($135m) move to City from Aston Villa in the summer of 2021 – was all smiles as he mingled with Pinder’s family.
Abbie was left in tears after meeting her sporting hero and will have thoroughly enjoyed her day after seeing the reigning Premier League champions book a fifth-round clash with Championship side Peterborough.
Grealish has earned plenty of praise for his actions, with a kind gesture proving yet again that he is one of the classiest players in English football.
The City star always makes time for his fans and is heavily involved in charity work outside football.
