Commentary

Wolfsburg end their Bundesliga campaign on a positive note, then, while Bayern bring another successful season to a close. They'll enjoy their break before they aim to be Germany's best team for an 11th consecutive season. That's all for now. Goodbye!
The draw means that Wolfsburg end the season in 12th. It's been an underwhelming campaign for them, but going unbeaten in their last four games and picking up a point against the champions isn't a bad way to end it. Bayern of course stay top of the pile. They end the season on their longest winless run since November 2018, but will they care? Not really.
Wolfsburg and Bayern bring the curtain down on their seasons with a pleasantly diverting draw! Bayern were well on top in the first half, going 2-0 up. Wind knocked the wind out of the champions just before half-time, and Kruse equalised for Wolfsburg around the hour mark. Both teams went for the win late on, but in the end were happy to share the spoils.
90' + 4' FULL-TIME: WOLFSBURG 2-2 BAYERN MUNICH
90' + 3' Wolfsburg get their own opportunity to score a late winner, but it's not to be! The hosts find themselves three-on-three with Bayern's defenders. Bialek finds Philipp to his right, and Philipp's shot whistles wide of the top left corner. That's it!
S. Bornauw
J. Brooks
Wolfsburg
90' + 1' Wolfsburg substitution. Bornauw takes Brooks' place at the back for the hosts.
90' Musiala fires off-target from the right of the box. Wolfsburg are in no mood to lose this game at this stage. There'll be three more minutes of this.
89' Sane spurns what is surely Bayern's best chance to win this game! Wolfsburg commit too many players forward and get caught out once Baku has a shot blocked. The Bayern substitute races through on goal and has only Casteels to beat, but fires wide from the left of the box.
O. Richards
Yellow Card
Bayern München
88' Richards picks up a late yellow card for bringing Philipp's foray forward to an abrupt halt.
87' Upamecano can't control his header as he meets Bayern's latest corner. Wolfsburg seem more than content with a draw. They haven't attempted a shot since Kruse's goal.
85' Bayern are still trying to win the game, but you can tell their heart's not really in it. Sane's effort from inside the box is blocked. Bayern get a corner, and Casteels saves Musiala's effort from distance. Arnold hands Bayern another corner. Wolfsburg hold firm.
M. Philipp
M. Kruse
Wolfsburg
83' Kruse, the scorer of Wolfsburg's equaliser, is next to go. Philipp is his replacement.
B. Białek
L. Nmecha

83' Wolfsburg make a few more changes of their own. The booked Nmecha goes off. Białek replaces him.
82' Chance for Bayern! Choupo-Moting drags his left-footed shot from the left of the box wide of the far post.

O. Richards
A. Davies

80' Choupo-Moting fires high and wide from a tight angle as Bayern pick him out with a crossfield pass. The champions are about to make more changes.
79' Bayern pop the ball around in Wolfsburg's half, but they seem short of ideas. Lacroix powerfully punts Musiala's low cross from the right away.
D. Upamecano
Yellow Card
Bayern München
77' Upamecano clatters into Wind to stop the Wolfsburg winger's run. The Frenchman is booked.
76' Sane plays a one-two with Goretzka before trying to slide Lewandowski through on goal. Wolfsburg are alive to the danger.
74' Bayern have a corner. Wolfsburg win the defensive header and the referee stops play as the ball hits him on the back.
J. Roussillon
M. van de Ven
Wolfsburg
73' Van de Ven also goes off as Wolfsburg refresh their left side. Roussillon replaces him at left-back.
A. Vranckx
Y. Gerhardt
Wolfsburg
72' Wolfsburg make their first change of the game. Vranckx comes on for Gerhardt.
70' Sane centres the ball for Lewandowski, who has a crack at goal from the penalty spot. It's blocked.
69' Sane bursts down the left to earn Bayern another corner. The visitors try to make the most of it, but Goretzka heads wide and Casteels comes away with the ball.
L. Sané
S. Gnabry
Bayern München
67' Bayern make their expected substitution. Sane replaces Gnabry.
65' Bayern are getting Sane ready to come on. They need to inject some more urgency into their play, for sure.
64' Musiala's shot from outside the box is blocked. Bayern lose possession, but Wolfsburg aren't able to capitalise on the mistake.
62' Gnabry chests the ball down, jinks inside on his left foot and lets fly at goal. It deflects out for a Bayern corner which Casteels punches away at his near post.
61' Kruse's goal has stirred Bayern from their slumber. Casteels easily saves Lewandowski's attempt to find the bottom right corner.
E. Choupo-Moting
T. Müller
Bayern München
60' Bayern respond to Wolfsburg's equaliser by making a change. Choupo-Moting replaces Muller.
M. van de Ven
Assist
Wolfsburg
58' Van de Ven powered forward on the overlap and was able to pick out Kruse with ease there. Bayern need to wake up.
M. Kruse
Goal
Wolfsburg
58' GOAL! WOLFSBURG 2-2 BAYERN MUNICH! Kruse completes Wolfsburg's comeback from two goals down! It's a simple goal, as the forward gets ahead of Hernandez at the back post to convert Van de Ven's cross.
57' Baku's penalised for handling the ball. It's fair to say that not much is going on at the moment.
55' Gnabry nearly gets loose down the right but has the ball pinched from him at the last moment. Bayern haven't created much at all since half-time.
53' Wolfsburg are enjoying more of the ball in this second half than they did in the first. It's mostly in their own defensive third, but it's a start.
51' Wolfsburg fling a decent cross into Bayern's penalty area from the right. The champions manage to deal with it, but Wolfsburg are definitely still a threat.
49' Play's stopped as Lewandowski catches Lacroix with an outstretched foot. It's accidental, and thankfully the Frenchman is soon back on his feet.
47' Baku makes a well-timed tackle to halt Davies' advance down Bayern's left.
46' Bayern get the second half going. No changes at half-time.
Bayern don't have too much to worry about yet. They're unbeaten in their last 66 Bundesliga matches when leading at half-time, dating back to February 2019. Wind's goal does keep the door open for Wolfsburg in the second half though, and we all know final-day games can be unpredictable.
Bayern have a one-goal advantage as they and Wolfsburg head in for the break. The champions have predictably been the better side, going 2-0 up through Stanisic and Lewandowski with Musiala having a goal chalked off in between. Wolfsburg haven't been bad though, hitting the post before scoring through Wind. More to come!
45' + 2' HALF-TIME: WOLFSBURG 1-2 BAYERN MUNICH
M. Kruse
Assist
Wolfsburg
45' Bayern were guilty of switching off there and letting Kruse pick his target. It gives Wolfsburg renewed hope for the second half.
J. Wind
Goal
Wolfsburg
45' GOAL! WOLFSBURG 1-2 BAYERN MUNICH! Wind pulls a goal back for the hosts just before half-time! The midfielder finds the bottom left corner from Kruse's decent cross.
44' More on Lewandowski's goal. That was his 35th goal of the season and Muller's 18th assist, both league bests this season. The Bundesliga is Bayern's playground.
L. Nmecha
Yellow Card
Wolfsburg
42' Nmecha's booked for a clumsy challenge on Upamecano that leaves the Frenchman in need of treatment. He was lucky not to receive a card for his high foot on Hernandez earlier.
41' Bayern attack right away from the kick-off, catching Wolfsburg off-guard. Lewandowski reaches Davies' pass to fire wide from the left of the box.
T. Müller
Assist
Bayern München
40' Muller had all the time in the world to pick Lewandowski out there. The Poland international was typically clinical.
R. Lewandowski
Goal
Bayern München
40' GOAL! WOLFSBURG 0-2 BAYERN MUNICH! Muller swings a left-footed cross towards Lewandowski from the right. The Bayern forward gets in front of his man to flick it into the far corner with his head.
39' Bayern elect to keep possession from the corner. Davies nods a throughball in the direction of Lewandowski. A player in Wolfsburg green gets to it first.
37' The referee heads to the technical area to show Florian Kohfeldt the yellow card for protesting the corner decision. The Wolfsburg boss will need to keep his cool for the rest of the game.
36' Wolfsburg are growing a little more confident now having escaped going two goals behind. They still need to be careful though, as Bayern earn another corner.
34' Nmecha receives the ball with his back to goal, swivels and shoots from inside the D. It's a decent effort that bounces not far wide of the left-hand post.
32' Wolfsburg attempt to free Gerhardt down the left, but the pass is too powerful and goes out for a Bayern throw-in.
31' Musiala and Gnabry both fire off-target from distance. You can't blame them for having a try.
30' Muller gets his teammates a thumbs up as Casteels claims a cross intended for the Bayern forward. Both teams seem to be having fun, given that neither has anything to play for.
28' Arnold's ball in isn't cleared entirely by Bayern. Wolfsburg loft it back into the box and Wind can't keep his header down.
27' Schlager sends a cross into the Bayern box from the right. Stanisic nods it out for a Wolfsburg corner.
25' NO GOAL FOR BAYERN! WOLFSBURG 0-1 BAYERN MUNICH! Musiala's goal is ruled out due to Davies badgering Casteels on the goalline at the time the ball was struck. The wing-back was definitely offside.
23' GOAL! WOLFSBURG 0-2 BAYERN MUNICH! This is way too easy for Bayern. Muller finds himself in space down the right and fizzes the ball towards the penalty spot. Musiala reaches it first and sweeps it easily into the bottom left corner. Hang on, the goal's being reviewed by VAR...
21' Nmecha raises his foot high to take down a pass and catches Hernandez on the follow-through. The referee is lenient with the Wolfsburg forward.
19' That's Stanisic's first goal of this Bundesliga season. Not a bad thing to get on the final day. Bayern have now scored in their last 81 Bundesliga games.
J. Kimmich
Assist
Bayern München
17' Kimmich's delivery there was excellent, but it was far too easy for Stanisic to get on the end of it. You can't say Bayern don't deserve the lead after the start they've had.
J. Stanišić
Goal
Bayern München
17' GOAL! WOLFSBURG 0-1 BAYERN MUNICH! Maybe Wolfsburg do have something to fear. Kimmich swings the corner in and Stanisic's looping header drops into the top left corner of the net.
16' Bayern get another corner of their own down their right.
14' Wolfsburg succeed in earning a corner down their right. They hit the post from it! Arnold curls it in and Brooks connects with a powerful header that rattles the left-hand upright. Schlager's follow-up shot doesn't worry Neuer, but this should show the hosts they have nothing to fear.
13' Gnabry flashes a dangerous ball across the face of the six-yard box. Musiala isn't far from connecting with it.
11' Kimmich sends the corner in. Upamecano gets his head on the end of it, and Casteels makes the catch. Bayern are showing plenty of intent early on here.
10' The ball bounces kindly for Lewandowski, who spanks it towards goal. It's heading wide of the right-hand post, but Casteels gets a hand to it just in case. Bayern corner.
8' Kimmich fires in a cross from the right that Goretzka ghosts into the six-yard box to reach! Casteels tips the midfielder's toe-poke out for another Bayern corner. The Wolfsburg goalkeeper ends up claiming it.
7' Bayern decide to keep the ball. Musiala blasts a right-footed effort towards goal from outside the box. Casteels drops to his knees to catch it.
6' Casteels doesn't anticipate a pass back from a teammate and ends up conceding a corner. Goretzka shoots from inside the D. It's blocked. Gnabry's pass deflects out for a Bayern throw-in.
5' Schlager wins possession and spots Neuer off his line. The midfielder goes for goal from more than 35 yards out. His effort bounces way off-target.
4' Gnabry attempts to take down a promising pass over the top but is unable to prevent it from going out for a Wolfsburg goal-kick.
2' Gnabry's cross from the right of the box is blocked. The offside flag belatedly goes up against the Bayern winger.
1' Wolfsburg eventually get this game underway as green smoke fills the air! There's a fun final-day atmosphere in Volkswagen Arena.
On paper, Bayern should win this. The Bavarians have lost just four of their last 49 Bundesliga games against Wolfsburg, most recently in January 2015. They've scored against their hosts in each of their last 27 league meetings and have lost just once on the final day in the last 15 seasons. Will there be a surprise here though?
There are three changes to Bayern's starting lineup from their 2-2 draw away to Stuttgart. Stanisic, Hernandez and Musiala start. Kingsley Coman misses this last game of the season through suspension. Kimmich will play his 300th competitive game for the club.
Wolfsburg make just one change from their 1-0 away victory over Cologne last week. Their captain Casteels returns in goal. Pervan drops to the bench.
SUBS: Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Omar Richards, Malik Tillman, Leroy Sane, Christian Fruchtl, Benjamin Pavard, Gabriel Vidovic, Tanguy Kouassi.

SUBS: Aster Vranckx, Jerome Roussillon, Kevin Mbabu, Bartosz Bialek, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Renato Steffen, Dodi Lukebakio, Pavao Pervan, Maximilian Philipp.
WOLFSBURG (4-4-2): Koen Casteels (c); Ridle Baku, Maxence Lacroix, John Brooks, Micky van de Ven; Max Kruse, Xavier Schlager, Maximilian Arnold, Yannick Gerhardt; Jonas Wind, Lukas Nmecha.
There's no better time for the hosts to face champions Bayern, who have taken their foot off the gas since confirming their 10th consecutive Bundesliga title. Bayern are winless in their last two league matches, but haven't gone three matches in a row without a victory since November 2018. Don't bet against one final upset.
Wolfsburg are ending their season in good form, having gone unbeaten in their last three Bundesliga games. With the threat of relegation now a distant memory, Die Wolfe can afford to enjoy themselves on the final matchday of the campaign.
