That's all for today, goodbye!
City bounced back from the Community Shield loss to put their first points on the table. Next up for them is Bournemouth at home. Moyes will be hoping West Ham can bounce back quickly as they travel to Nottingham Forest for their next game.
City start their title defence with a 2-0 win over West Ham. Haaland scored both of the goals, one in either half to seal the points. The first came from the penalty spot, which he won when he was tripped by Areola, and he converted it confidently, while the second finished off a lightning-quick counter-attack when he coolly slotted it past the keeper. De Bruyne also had a goal disallowed in the first half as Gundogan was offside in the build-up.

Manchester City
88' City are making their final changes here, starting with Palmer coming on for De Bruyne.
86' City are still finding a lot of space down the left and Silva clips a good cross into the middle towards Alvarez. Rice reads it well though, but can only clear it as far as Rodri.
84' West Ham are starting to look tired, and they're not closing City down as quickly as before. The visitors are happy to just keep possession in their own half at the moment.
82' Another patient passage of play sees City draw West Ham out of their shape and Grealish squares it to Rodri just outside the box. He has a go from range but fires his shot wide of the near post.
80' Haaland is the second Manchester City player to score a brace on his Premier League debut, following Sergio Aguero in August 2011.

Manchester City
78' City are making a double change here, and Haaland won't have the chance to get a hat-trick as he's replaced by Alvarez.
77' CLOSE! Again, City switch it well from right to left, and Johnson just loses Grealish's run into the box. He tries to catch out Areola at his near post but drags it just wide.
75' Cancelo manages to pick out a throughball to Gundogan, who spins away from Soucek again to try and tee up Haaland. It's a loose first touch from him though and it gives Zouma the chance to get back into position.
73' GREAT SAVE! Fornals doesn't have a lot of space down the right, but he manages to whip a great cross into the box. Scamacca glances a header on and Ederson stretches to tip it wide, but the flag means it wouldn't have counted anyway.
72' It's better from West Ham here and they're forcing City deeper. It's patient play, but they're starting to threaten the visitors.
70' CHANCE! City's keep it alive after Zouma's clearance and Grealish skips away from Coufal before clipping it to Haaland on the edge of the six-yard box. He flicks the header but sends it high over the bar.
69' After a good spell just before City's second goal, West Ham are on the backfoot again, being penned back deep in their own half. Gundogan spins away from Rice before picking out De Bruyne, but Zouma blocks the cross.
67' Straight from the restart, Johnson tries to get his side straight upfield by going long over the top to Bowen. He's not on the same wavelength though, and Ake is there to cut it out.
K. De Bruyne
Assist
Manchester City
65' De Bruyne was given so much space down the right and he quickly got his head up before playing a perfectly-weighted throughball forward for Haaland.
E. Haaland
Goal
Manchester City
65' HAALAND SCORES AGAIN! The move starts deep in City's half, with Rodri picking out De Bruyne in space down the right. He slides it between West Ham's defenders, putting it on a plate for Haaland, and he keeps his cool to slot it under Haaland and into the back of the net. 2-0 City!
63' CHANCE! West Ham have a rare chance to break on the counter and Coufal's cross is just too high for Bowen, who can only help it out to Benrahma. He takes it around Ake, but his low shot is straight at Ederson.
62' GREAT CHANCE! The big switch catches West Ham out and Foden slides it through for De Bruyne. He fizzes a low cross into the six-yard box and Gundogan squares it back across, but nobody's there for City.
61' Still, City dominate possession, but they're struggling to find a way through West Ham. The hosts are staying compact and making it difficult in the final third.
59' West Ham just can't get out of their own half at the moment as Gundogan cuts back inside to curl a cross in. It's too high for everyone though and bounces harmlessly wide.
S. Benrahma
M. Lanzini
West Ham United
57' And Lanzini is also making way, with Benrahma on in his place.
G. Scamacca
M. Antonio
West Ham United
57' West Ham are making a double change as they look to get themselves back into this game. Antonio is the first to go off, with Scamacca coming on to make his Premier League debut.
56' Haaland is the second debutant in Premier League history to both win a penalty and then successfully convert it, after Alexandre Pato for Chelsea in April 2016 (v Aston Villa).
54' CHANCE! Lanzini latches onto Gundogan's loose pass and he slides it through to Antonio on the edge of the box. He tees up Bowen, who chooses to pull it back to Rice instead, but he fires his shot high over the bar.
52' City are still dominating possession here and Rodri skips away from Soucek's challenge. West Ham quickly drop deep into their shape though, and City's way through is blocked again.
50' Walker's throw-in is missed by Antonio and Foden is peeling off the back of Cresswell. There's a mix-up between the full-back and Zouma that almost lets Foden in, but they just manage to get it away.
48' City have picked up where they left off, and they're on the attack here. Grealish plays a quick one-two with Haaland on the edge of the box, but he can't get it past Coufal when he cuts inside.
46' West Ham get us back underway for the second half!
Despite dominating the first half, City didn't create too many clear-cut chances, but Guardiola will be fairly pleased with what he's seen so far and will ask for more of the same after the break. West Ham's quick start didn't end up coming to anything, but Moyes will be hoping for something similar in the second half.
Haaland's penalty gives City a 1-0 lead over West Ham at half-time. The Hammers made the brighter start, with Antonio coming close with an early header, but it was too high. City dominated after that though and had the ball in the back of the net thanks to De Bruyne, but it was ruled out for an offside in the build-up. Haaland was then tripped by substitute goalkeeper Areola, who came on for the injured Fabianski, and the Norweigan slotted home the resulting penalty.
45' + 5' HALF-TIME: WEST HAM 0-1 MANCHESTER CITY.
João Cancelo
Yellow Card
Manchester City
45' + 3' It was a late challenge from Cancelo on Bowen as he tried to make up for a loose touch, and he's the first player to go into the book.
45' + 1' City are just slowing the pace of the game down here and they're happy to keep possession in their own half. West Ham are still pressing high up the field, but they're still struggling to get on the ball.
44' Cresswell squeezes it down the left for Fornals, who spins past Walker and bursts down the wing. He lays it off to Antonio, but he has three players around him and he can't get a shot away.
42' De Bruyne's pull back on the right is cut out by Zouma, but he only clears it as far as Cancelo. He decides to have a go from range, but he curls it well wide of the near post.
40' West Ham are trying to press from the front as City knock it around in their own half, but they just can't get on the ball. Ederson ends up going long and Grealish is away down the left.
38' Foden is tripped by Rice and City have a free-kick in a good position through the middle. Gundogan steps up to take it, but he fires his effort straight into the wall.
E. Haaland
Penalty Goal
Manchester City
36' HAALAND SCORES! He steps up to take the penalty that he won, and it's a great spot-kick! He sends Areola the wrong way, curling a low shot along the floor and into the bottom left corner of the net. 1-0 City!
35' PENALTY TO CITY! It's a good throughball into the box from Gundogan and Haaland bursts through the backline and knocks it around Areola. The keeper was committed though and he ends up taking out the forward and the referee points to the spot.
33' City work it from left to right and Walker tries to thread it through to Foden in the box. Areola is alert to the danger though and slides in to collect it.
31' West Ham might have another problem here as Antonio is down holding his knee. He seemed to jar it after landing from an aerial challenge and he's receiving treatment, but he'll be able to carry on.
A. Aréola
Ł. Fabiański
West Ham United
29' Fabianski is still feeling the effects of that earlier collision with Haaland, and he signals to the bench that he can't carry on. Areola is brought on to replace him.
27' OFFSIDE! Haaland was off balance, but he did well to poke it through to Gundogan down the left. He squares it into the box, where De Bruyne slots it into the back of the net, but the German was offside in the build-up.
26' City are still dominating possession, but they're struggling to pass their way through West Ham's compact shape. They're working it left to right, but without any luck at the moment.
24' Fabianski slowly gets back to his feet after receiving treatment following the collision, and he's moving gingerly, but he's going to try and carry on.
22' It's a brilliant whipped cross into the box from De Bruyne and Fabianski throws himself forward to punch it away. He collides with Haaland and Cresswell, who were also going for the ball, and he's stayed down.
20' CLOSE! City patiently work it upfield again and Rodri works it out to Foden on the right. He clips a great cross into the near post, and Haaland glances it on, but it bounces just wide of the far post.
18' Fabianski plucks Foden's corner out of the air, but West Ham are slow to get out of their own box. Rice it trying to get his side upfield, but ends up scrambling the ball away when he's closed down by Haaland.
16' West Ham are moving it quickly upfield when they do win back possession, and it's Soucek that goes long this time, looking for Lanzini. He sets off too early though and the flag goes up against him.
14' CHANCE! West Ham's counter is broken up and Cancelo drives forward to get City back upfield. He squares the ball into De Bruyne on the edge of the D, and he drills a low shot towards the near post but drags it wide.
12' Gundogan fizzes the ball in from the right and Haaland can't spin away from Johnson. He manages to poke it through to Foden, but his way to goal is blocked off by Cresswell.
10' After losing their first Premier League match in five consecutive seasons between 2016-17 and 2020-21, West Ham won 4-2 at Newcastle United last season. They last started their league season with a win in back-to-back years in 2012-13 and 2013-14.
8' City are starting to dominate possession now and they're patiently working it out from the back. Grealish carries it down the left again, but his cross is blocked by Johnson this time.
6' Grealish links up well with Gundogan down the left and takes it to the byline before fizzing a dangerous cross in. Fabianski gets down to cut it out, but it takes him two attempts to hold it.
4' Ederson is down in his box receiving treatment and he's got a black eye after taking an elbow to the face from Dias during that last corner. He's okay to carry on.
3' GREAT CHANCE! There's a scramble from the resulting corner, with Zouma and Bowen both seeing efforts blocked before Lanzini recycles it on the left. His cross is glanced on by Antonio, but he sends the header over.
2' It's a risky cross-field pass from Cancelo in front of his own box and Fornals intercepts it for West Ham. He lays it off to Cresswell, who curls a dangerous cross in, but Gundogan just beats Antonio to it.
1' Haaland gets the game underway for City!
The teams are out on the pitch now, with kick-off just moments away!
West Ham have faced City on three previous occasions in their opening top-flight game of the season, losing all three and failing to score a single goal (conceded 11).
Pep Guardiola makes just two changes from the Community Shield loss last Saturday, with Gundogan and Foden both coming into the side. It also means a Premier League debut for Haaland. Silva and Mahrez start on the bench, as do the other new signings, Phillips, Ortega, and Alvarez, who came on to score City's only goal in that match.
David Moyes makes three changes to the side that played Lens in their last pre-season match, bringing in Cresswell, Lanzini and Antonio. Benrahma drops to the bench, where new signings Scamacca and Downes are also named. Craig Dawson misses out through injury.

City secured the title in dramatic fashion on the final day, coming from behind to win against Aston Villa and beat Liverpool to the trophy. Their short pre-season saw them win both games before losing 3-1 to the Reds in the Community Shield last Saturday. West Ham enjoyed another strong campaign last time out, finishing seventh to secure European football as well as reaching the semi-final of the Europa League. They won just two of their seven pre-season friendlies (D4 L1), failing to win any of the last four.
