Torino have booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia after a heroic effort in Milan. Juric's side were given little chance of victory, considering their recent record against Milan, but they found a way to win with 10 men. Pioli's troops were well off the pace in the first 45 minutes, but they improved in the second half and looked like they would kick on and win the match when Djidji was shown a second yellow card for a foul on Messias. Messias' impact was immediate, but the full-back wasted his only opportunity to score. Further chances fell to Dest, Calabria, Hernandez and Leao, but Milan looked like a shadow of themselves in front of goal. That eventually came back to haunt them when Torino launched a counter-attack in the 114th minute. Bayeye's cross was perfect for Adopo, who tapped into an empty net.

We reach half-time without a goal, and after a timid display from Milan, that is no surprise. Torino have come to the San Siro to defend, and they have done a pretty good job of it. Milan need to do more if they want to avoid extra-time, but it has not been a total snoozefest. Both teams had chances inside the first half, but Lukic's close-range effort was saved by Milan keeper Tatarusanu. De Ketelaere has been denied on two occasions, first by the post and then by Milinkovic-Savic.

44' SAVE! De Ketelaere is denied by Milinkovic-Savic from the edge of the box, but that was much better from Milan, who finally found their striker in space in a dangerous area. Sadly for the hosts, the Belgium international shot straight at the Torino keeper, but hopefully, that is a sign of things to come in the second half.
42' Pobega has attempted four tackles in this game, more than any other player on either team. While he has not had much chance to create, he has worked tremendously hard to keep Milan on top.

9' Torino have done a great job so far in stopping the supply to Milan forward Diaz and De Ketelaere. The duo have barely had a kick of the ball, and Pioli may need to tweak his tactics to help the pair.
