UEFA Champions League
UEFA Europa League
UEFA Conference League Qualifiers

That is all we have time for this evening, folks. Thanks for joining us for that fantastic contest. Goodbye for now!
Liverpool's 4-2 success boosts their chances of finishing in the top four, with Klopp's men now four points behind fourth-placed Liverpool. They have also played a game less than the Blues, and we could be in for a tense finish to the campaign. United have now lost back-to-back league games, and they will need to return to winning ways before Leicester reduce the four-point gap between them.
After a thrilling 90 minutes of football, Liverpool claim the three points at Old Trafford. Remarkably they fell behind inside the early stages as Fernandes' strike took a deflection off Phillips before going in. Liverpool won a penalty after Phillips was brought down, but a VAR check soon ruled it out, but the Reds still found time to score two goals before the break. Jota's backheel from Phillips' shot levelled matters before Firmino headed home Alexander-Arnold's cross. Firmino grabbed his second just two minutes into the second half as he pounced on an error from Henderson, before Rashford made it 3-2 with 22 minutes remaining. United went all out for an equaliser, and it proved to be their undoing as Salah scored a breakaway goal to make it 4-2 after a quick counter-attack.
N. Williams
Mohamed Salah
90' + 2' Salah's night comes to an end as Neco Williams comes on for the final few minutes.
Mohamed Salah
90' GAME OVER!!!! MANCHESTER UNITED 2-4 LIVERPOOL! It is all over at Old Trafford as Salah races away to score Liverpool's fourth of the night. United lost the ball in midfield as they pushed for an equaliser, and Salah did the rest. He stayed onside and raced onto Jones' throughball before adjusting his body and curling the ball past Henderson. United have four minutes to score two goals; the points should be heading back to Merseyside.
C. Jones
90' Jones did well to react in midfield, and his pass forward allowed Salah to race clear. Without his quick thinking, Liverpool may still be defending a one-goal lead.
N. Matić
E. Bailly
86' Solskjaer makes another change, and he changes his formation as Matic comes on for Bailly.
E. Cavani
Yellow Card
85' Cavani's robust challenge on Thiago earns him a yellow card, and he can have no complaints.
83' United are doing everything they can to grab a third goal, but their play is becoming very frantic in the final third. Someone in their red shirt needs to show some composure in the last few minutes.
81' We are into the final ten minutes at Old Trafford, and the Reds need to hang on if they are to have any chance of qualifying for the Champions League.
S. McTominay
Yellow Card
79' McTominay joins Bailly in the book after a strong challenge in the middle of midfield.
78' OVER! Fernandes fails to keep his free-kick down, and Alisson is delighted as the ball sails over the crossbar. It remains 3-2 to Liverpool, and we have just over 10 minutes remaining.
77' United win a free-kick on the edge of the Liverpool box after Fernandes' strike hits Thiago on the arm.
76' Rashford now has 50 goals at Old Trafford in all competitions for United, while that strike was his fifth strike against Liverpool in as many matches.
75' MANE! The sub nearly makes an immediate impact, but he fails to take the ball around Henderson, and the United keeper stays big to clear the ball away from trouble.
S. Mané
Diogo Jota
74' Klopp makes a second substitution as Mane comes on for the final 16 minutes to replace Jota.
C. Jones
G. Wijnaldum
74' Klopp turns to his bench to freshen things up. Jones replaces Wijnaldum in the middle of the midfield.
73' OVER! Liverpool's latest counter-attack sees Salah go for goal but the Egypt international blazes the ball over the crossbar!
71' SO SO CLOSE!!! United somehow fail to level matters as Greenwood sees two shots blocked at close range. The first was destined for the bottom corner, but Philips cleared his effort off the line. The rebound fell back to the young striker, but his second strike hit Williams. Liverpool's goal is under siege at present, and it is going to take an incredible effort to keep the score at 3-2.
E. Cavani
68' Pure class from Cavani. He has barely had a kick all night, but he pounces to help Rashford score when the opportunity presents itself.
M. Rashford
68' GOAAAALLLL!!! MANCHESTER UNITED 2-3 LIVERPOOL - United grab a goal back as Rashford takes Cavani's pass into his stride before rolling the ball past Alisson and into the bottom corner. Fernandes played his part as he and Cavani made their way forward, but it was the former Paris Saint-Germain that split the defence with his pass, allowing Rashford to convert.
66' We should be in for an end-to-end battle for the remainder of this match. United are going to do all they can to restore parity, but Liverpool will be such a threat on the counter thanks to the pace of Salah, Firmino and Jota.
M. Greenwood
63' Solskjaer has seen enough, and Fred makes way for Greenwood as United look for a second goal.
62' SAVE! Liverpool nearly grab a fourth after more poor play from United. After Shaw's error for the third goal, this time, it was Wan-Bissaka's turn to give the ball away on the edge of his own box. Alexander-Arnold found himself on the left of the midfield, and he made his way into the area before shooting. The Liverpool ace aimed for the far corner, but Henderson got his body behind the ball, and United cleared!
59' OFF THE POST!! Jota rattles the upright, and that could have been the game right there for Liverpool. Salah picked out Firmino, who rolled the ball to Jota, but the former Wolves man rattled the post from close range. Henderson came off his line to close the Portugal international down, but it was the frame of the goal that denied Jota.
55' For the first time this evening, we have had a slight lull in proceedings. Neither keeper has had to make a save in the last few minutes, but that should suit Liverpool, who can recharge their batteries and protect their two-goal cushion.
53' Solskjaer has sent some of his bench to warm up. Cavani has been quiet tonight, but he has had no service whatsoever, so it will be interesting to see what the United boss does.
51' Firmino is the first Liverpool player to score a league brace at Old Trafford since Steven Gerrard in March 2014.
49' Jota stayed down after that challenge, but he is back on the pitch after receiving treatment.
E. Bailly
Yellow Card
48' Bailly is shown a yellow card after going through the back of Jota, although he claims he touched the ball first.
Roberto Firmino
47' GOAAAALLL!!!! MANCHESTER UNITED 1-3 LIVERPOOL - Firmino grabs his second of the night as the Reds punish United for some sloppy defending. Shaw was at fault at first as the left-back made his way into midfield, thinking he had all the time in the world, and he was tackled before the ball fell to Alexander-Arnold. The right-back aimed for goal, and Henderson should have made a routine save, but he spilt the ball straight into Firmino's path. The striker tapped home, and Liverpool now have a two-goal cushion!
46' The game is back underway at Old Trafford!
It would be a surprise if the game stayed at 2-1, with both sides desperate for the three points. Liverpool need to win to boost their top-four hopes, while the Red Devils will do anything to deny their rivals the chance to move closer to Champions League qualification. Solskjaer's bench looks strong, with Van de Beek, Greenwood and Diallo all available.
The first half comes to an end, and Liverpool have shown heart to snatch the lead just before the interval. They fell behind after Fernandes' strike took a wicked deflection off Phillips, but they levelled through Jota's backheel. With United pushing for another goal, Liverpool found time to grab a shock lead as Firmino headed into the top corner. The first 45 minutes flew by, and both sides could have added further goals. If the second half is similar to the first, then we are in for a treat! United also had a penalty awarded, only for the referee to go back on his original decision after consulting VAR.
T. Alexander-Arnold
45' + 3' Alexander-Arnold has looked dangerous when going forward tonight and the set-piece specialist grabs another assist thanks to Firmino's bullet header.
Roberto Firmino
45' + 3' GOAAALLLL - MANCHESTER UNITED 1-2 LIVERPOOL - Firmino heads Liverpool into the lead, and that goal comes at the perfect moment just before half-time. The Reds were awarded a free-kick, and Alexander-Arnold's delivery was perfect for Firmino. The ball evaded everyone until it reached the Brazilian at the far post, and he smashed the ball past Henderson.
45' + 3' The physio has checked on Fernandes, and he looks good to continue.
45' + 2' Worryingly for United, Fernandes has stayed down injured since going for goal, with Thiago just clipping him as he tried to stop him from shooting.
45' + 1' BLOCK! Fernandes smashes a volley towards goal, but his left-footed strike smacks off Phillips and Liverpool clear the danger!
45' Three minutes of stoppage time to come at the end of the first half.
43' The momentum has now swung back in United's favour, but they are running out of time to find a second goal before half-time.
40' SIDE NETTING! Pogba goes close for the second time this evening, but this time, his powerful shot hits the side netting. Liverpool gave him too much space on the edge of the box, and he nearly punished them!
38' After absorbing some early pressure, Liverpool are now looking a real threat on the counter-attack.
35' CLOSE! Liverpool nearly work another shooting opportunity, but Salah's low cross towards Jota ends up going behind him, and United clear the danger!
Diogo Jota
34' GOAAAALLLLLL - MANCHESTER UNITED 1-1 LIVERPOOL - The Reds score from the resulting corner as Jota backheels the ball, beating Henderson on the third occasion. Phillips was the architect as he pounced on the loose ball before dribbling his way around two defenders and going for goal. His effort was going wide, but Jota reacted quickly to flick the ball into the back of the net. GAME ON!
N. Phillips
34' Assist Nathaniel Phillips
32' SAVE!!! Jota and Henderson go head-to-head for a second time, and as he did on the first occasion, Henderson wins the battle this time too. Jota's half-volley was destined for the back of the net, but the United keeper tips the ball over for a corner.
31' WIDE! United nearly double their lead, but Pogba's header misses the far post. The Frenchman managed to escape his marker, but despite beating Alisson, he could not keep his effort in play, and Liverpool can breathe a sigh of relief as a goal-kick is awarded.
28' PENALTY DISALLOWED!! Taylor changes his original decision and claims that Bailly got a touch before Phillips went to the ground. Replays suggest he made the correct call the second time around. It remains 1-0!
27' Bailly has brought down Phillips inside the box, but he is claiming he got a touch to the ball. Referee Anthony Taylor is now making his way across to the touchline to assess the VAR monitor!
23' CHANCE! Henderson comes to the rescue for United as Liverpool push for an equaliser. Jota came within inches of finding the back of the net, but Henderson smothered the winger's shot as they both attacked a cross.
20' Fernandes will keep the goal by the looks of things, meaning he has been directly involved in 44 goals in 50 Premier League appearances for United. That is now 26 goals and 18 assists; only Eric Cantona and Robin van Persie had a hand in more with 46 and 45, respectively.
18' The visitors are starting to find space down the left-hand side of midfield, and Robertson has now produced two dangerous crosses. Whilst they have not found a teammate, it is much better from the Reds.
15' While they might be trailing, Liverpool have shown no signs of panic since going a goal down. Klopp's midfield is trying to dictate the tempo, but Salah, Firmino and Jota continue to struggle to find service.
12' The dubious goals panel might have another look at the Fernandes strike, but he keeps the goal for now.
Bruno Fernandes
10' GOAAAALLLLLL - MANCHESTER UNITED 1-0 LIVERPOOL - Fernandes fires United into the lead after some poor marking from the Reds defence. Liverpool went to sleep at the back, and Wan-Bissaka picked out Fernandes. The Portugal international wrapped the outside of his right foot around the ball, but his strike took a huge deflection before going in. Phillips has diverted the ball into the net past Allison after a failed clearance from the edge of his six-yard box.
A. Wan-Bissaka
10' Right-back Wan-Bissaka deserves praise for his run into the box. He glided into space before picking out Fernandes with a crisp finish.
8' We are not even at the 10th-minute mark, but both sides are struggling to keep possession, and we have seen numerous errors from both teams.
5' WIDE!!! Alisson's poor pass out of the box is pounced on by Cavani, but the Uruguayan fires wide. The United striker picked up possession on the edge of the area but dragged his shot wide of the post, and Alisson's mistake goes unpunished.
3' Liverpool work their way into the United box but fail to test Henderson in goal as Firmino is tackled as he goes to shoot. Bailly was the man that got across to deny him, and it was a good job he timed that well, with the centre-back the last man.
1' We are underway at Old Trafford, United wearing their traditional red and white kit, while Liverpool will play in their blue away jersey.
United have lost just one of their last 15 home games against Liverpool in all competitions, and are unbeaten in their previous eight since a 0-3 loss in March 2014.
Solskjaer makes ten changes to his side from the defeat to Leicester, with Greenwood dropping to the bench this time around. Liverpool boss Klopp makes just one alteration to his starting XI, with Firmino coming in for Mane.
SUBS: Caoimhin Kelleher, Adrian, Curtis Jones, Konstantinos Tsimikas, Xherdan Shaqiri, Ben Woodburn, Sadio Mane, Neco Williams, Divock Origi.

United have lost two of their last three in all competitions, but they still managed to reach the Europa League final. Solskjaer's troops will be looking to stop Liverpool's top-four push this evening, with the Reds seven points behind Chelsea. Jurgen Klopp's side needs other teams to do them a favour, but they are doing all they can to qualify for the Champions League after going six matches without defeat in the league.
This is Manchester United's second home game in as many days, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side losing 2-1 to Leicester City on Tuesday. That result handed Manchester City the Premier League title, and Liverpool will be looking to take advantage of their rivals' intense schedule. The Red Devils will have played three games inside five days after this fixture, while Liverpool were last in action against Southampton on Saturday.
Police officers were injured during the clashes on May 2, but local forces and United have taken extra care to make sure that the game can go ahead as normal. Barriers were erected around Old Trafford earlier on Thursday, while Manchester United's players have been inside the ground for several hours. Liverpool's squad made their way into the ground via a decoy coach, and thankfully the operation looks to have gone smoothly.
Good evening and welcome to our live coverage of the Premier League clash between Manchester United and Liverpool. This game was due to take place earlier this month, but fan protests before kick-off at Old Trafford saw the match postponed. Even though the demonstrations have resumed this evening, the game looks to be going ahead on time.
