That's all from us, we hope you enjoyed the game, and until the next one, goodbye!
The spoils shared doesn't really help either team, with Chelsea remaining third, albeit now eight points clear in the race for the top four. Manchester United stay in sixth, but have played at least once more than all the sides around them, suggesting they could be set to drop further once their rivals catch up.
Reece James was head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch in this game, and finished the match with a second assist for the opener, four shots, three key passes, three good crosses from 10 attempts, and led the way for the Blues in terms of touches, duels, successful duels, tackles, and fouls won. He was simply everywhere.
The second-half comes to an end, with United holding on to keep Chelsea at bay and share the points! Ronaldo's equaliser a minute after Chelsea's long-awaited opener did spark some life into the home side, but it was still the Blues who remained in control, but couldn't find the net again, and head home from Old Trafford ruing two points dropped, rather than one gained!
90' + 3' Lindelof's near-post header meets the corner, but there's not enough power on it to trouble Mendy, who saves.
90' + 2' Mata is put into space and links up with Ronaldo, who wins a late corner for United to take as the clock ticks down!
Alejandro Garnacho
A. Elanga
90' + 1' Elanga comes off to grant a debut for another young United product, in the form of Alejandro Garnacho.
90' + 1' We're into just three minutes of added time as both sides look to find a late, late winner!
90' Jorginho goes straight through the back of Fernandes as United come forward, and they will swing a late free-kick into the Blues' box.
88' Elanga is down on the goal-line after a high foot from Rudiger catches him on the back of the head. Both players were going for the ball, so no foul is given, but it'll be interesting to see if the United youngster can carry on here.
A. Rüdiger
Yellow Card
87' Mata looks to have beaten Pulisic's sliding challenge, but is held back by Rudiger, who sees the first yellow card of the game.
85' Ronaldo's equaliser was his only shot on target from three attempts so far, and despite winning 71.4 per cent of his duels, it's been an otherwise frustratimg game for the forward, who has lost the ball 14 times and been caught offside twice.
83' Elanga strides forward on the break and does well to avoid several challenges, before finally being shoved over by Rudiger and winning a free-kick for the Red Devils.
R. Loftus-Cheek
N. Kanté
82' Kante has been truly excellent in midfield for Chelsea, and is now replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
81' BLOCKED!!! Alonso is in space down the left as he arrives in the box. His attempt is deflected towards James, with the opposite full-back's shot deflecting behind off Telles!
80' OFF THE POST!!!! Kante's ball forward is flicked on by Mount, teeing up James for a left-footed shot that he curls towards goal, before it smashes off the far post!!! What a chance that was, and there's no one in blue more deserving of a goal than James!
M. Rashford
79' Rashford's been rather ineffective all game, and another former Chelsea midfielder in Juan Mata makes an appearance off the bench.
P. Jones
N. Matić
79' United make a double substitution, bringing off ex-Chelsea man Matic for Phil Jones.
77' SAVED!!! Ronaldo is put through on goal via a McTominay long ball, and takes on Silva before forcing a near-post parry from Mendy! The flag's up though, and the Portugal forward is penalised.
75' Jorginho's down receiving treatment after Kante's foul sends Fernandes down and onto his leg. It looked a nasty one, and the Italy midfielder has been down for some time now.
73' Another cross from James is whipped into the area, and Fernandes has to flick it behind for another corner. He's caused United so many problems down that side, the Chelsea right-wing-back.
72' James' cross is flashed across the face of goal, and a Telles deflection almost takes it goalwards before it goes behind for a corner.
C. Pulišić
T. Werner
71' Werner's been denied a few times by De Gea, and on comes Christian Pulisic in the hope of having more luck in front of goal.
R. Lukaku
K. Havertz
70' Havertz comes off for Chelsea, and ex-Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku comes on to a hostile reception at Old Trafford.
70' With Fernandes down on the ground, United look to play on, but a loose touch sees Dalot foul Alonso and play is brought back.
69' Ronaldo has scored a hat-trick in each of his last two league home games, doing so in 3-2 victories against Tottenham Hotspur and Norwich City. It’s the seventh time a player has scored a hat-trick in consecutive Premier League home appearances, the first for a Manchester United player, and the first overall since Sergio Agüero in February 2019.
68' Ronaldo catches James late after the wing-back is sandwiched between challenges, and after initially playing advantage, the referee brings play back for the free-kick.
66' James beats Elanga on his way into the box, but is forced wide by Matic before winning a corner off a deflection from the former Chelsea midfielder.
64' That's Ronaldo's first ever league goal against Chelsea, after 11 previous attempts, and even at this stage of his career, he'd never let a record like that last!
N. Matić
62' Matic's pass was just exceptional to pick out Ronaldo, and the 37-year-old produced another trademark finish to level the scores!
Cristiano Ronaldo
62' GOOOOAAAALLLLL!!! United equalise right from the off!!! Kante's long ball out of defence is cut out by Matic, who, after a failed pass is blocked by Kante, chips it over the top to Ronaldo, who brings the ball down and fires it beyond Mendy to make it 1-1!!!
K. Havertz
60' Havertz's flicked on header was so intelligent to pick out Alonso, and the wing-back did the rest to fire home the opener for the Blues.
Marcos Alonso
60' GOOOOAAAAALLLLL!!! Chelsea finally get the breakthrough!!! Another move sends the ball right, and James' cross into the box is headed on by Havertz. It lands at Alonso's feet, and the left-back smashes a low volley across De Gea and into the back of the net!!! It's been coming alright, and Chelsea go into a much deserved 1-0 lead.
59' Werner holds the ball up well in the United box, passing back to Jorginho who puts James into space. He looks to cross with plenty to aim at in the box, but a Lindelof block sends the ball behind for a corner.
58' Elanga pressures Rudiger into a rushed pass wide to Alonso, and he's then slid into by Fernandes, whose successful tackle gives the home crowd something to liven them up!
56' Silva looks to find James sprinting ahead with a long ball forward, but it's a tad too heavy and the wing-back can't keep it in play.
55' After Azpilicueta is harshly penalised for a handball, McTominay takes the free-kick and swings a poor ball over everyone's heads and behind for a goal kick.
53' CHANCE!! Some good inter-play from Chelsea sees James release Mount, who fizzes the ball across the face of goal. Werner is stretching for it, but can't quite reach the ball and it goes behind!
52' Alonso's ball to the far post is aimed for James, but Matic and Telles get back to cut it out. There's some confusion between them and De Gea, but Matic eventually steps up to hoof it clear.
51' James and Rashford contest a high ball and the United number 10 ends up on the ground. James is penalised, and United gain a reprieve from the free-kick.
49' Chelsea counter through Havertz, who steams forward with support on either side. He looks to find Kante to his left, but it's a poor ball that is easily cut out by Fernandes.
48' CHANCE!!! A United free-kick falls to Matic on the right-hand byline, and he crosses low into the six-yard box. Ronaldo's after it, but Azpilicueta's knee takes it away from the Red Devils forward!
46' Werner and James link up again down the right, with the latter crossing into the box. It comes to Mount, who drags a low shot wide of De Gea's left post.
46' United resume proceedings, and the second half is up and running!
The two sides head back out onto the field, and the second half will soon be underway.
Havertz has lead the line well for Chelsea so far, with the German forward forcing two crucial De Gea saves from three shots, as well as completing a key pass, all of his passes in United's half, and winning all of his duels in the air.
A rather low-quality first half comes to an end, with the hosts lucky not to be multiple goals behind. Havertz has been denied twice by De Gea, and had Chelsea's final ball been better on several occasions, they could be even further ahead. United need to tighten up their backline, and passing, if they're to hold the Blues out here, as you get the sense that Chelsea won't be denied for much longer.
44' Chelsea will be utterly bewildered if this game is 0-0 at half-time. They've had so much of the ball, the territory and the chances, and it's only their poor finishing that's prevented them from finding the back of the net.
42' Varane nicks the ball away from Jorginho's feet as he enters the box, but James picks the ball up and crosses from the byline. Varane is there again to clear, though.
40' CHANCE!!! United work the ball well as McTominay puts Fernandes into shooting space. He hesitates though, looking to play in Ronaldo, but the forward is offside and the chance goes begging!
39' Rudiger's urged to shoot by the away end again and does so, but this effort is even worse, almost clearing the back of the stands as it flies over the bar.
37' Kante looks to latch onto a deflected James cross, but loses out to McTominay. Kante sticks out a leg to win the ball back, but catches the Reds midfielder and is penalised.
36' SAVED!!! James is found in space on the right again, and crosses into the box. Havertz nips in at the back post, heading low and forcing another parry from De Gea!
35' Chelsea are dominating this game, and United have offered very little resistance so far. The Blues are currently managing 58.8 per cent possession, whilst their passing accuracy of 91.6 per cent is dwarfing United's 84 per cent at the moment. One. Way. Traffic.
33' United have lost three of their last four Premier League games, more than they had in their previous 18. The Red Devils haven’t lost three consecutive league games since December 2015 under Louis van Gaal, while they haven’t conceded at least three goals in three straight league games since December 1978.
31' James' ball over the top finds Werner, who beats Lindelof before shooting. De Gea's leg stops the ball at the near post, but the flag's up against Werner for offside.
30' James has the freedom of Old Trafford down that right-hand side, jinking out of two challenges before flashing the ball across the face of goal. Alonso can't quite get to it, but the Chelsea wing-backs are running riot at the moment.
29' The Chelsea corner is flicked onto Rudiger, who from the penalty spot hooks a left-footed volley over the top of the bar.
28' SAVED!!! United's defence is at sixes and sevens as Kante walks through the midfield. He plays in Havertz again, much more centrally this time, and his shot hits De Gea's midriff and goes behind for a corner!!
26' WIDE!!! Kante strides through midfield and puts Havertz through on goal. He's on the angle, and smashes a shot at De Gea's near post, that clatters into the side netting and behind!
26' Ronaldo dribbles into the box and takes on Azpilicueta, but goes down under pressure to no avail and Chelsea re-gain possession,
25' Mount plays a one-two at a Chelsea corner and looks to fire a low cross to Alonso on the edge of the box. The left-back overruns the ball though, and it goes straight behind him and beyond the 18-yard box.
24' Only Manchester City, with 39, have won more away points in the Premier League than Chelsea's 36 this season, while only Liverpool (40) have scored more goals on the road than the Blues (35). Chelsea have won their last eight away games in all competitions, their longest such run in their history.
22' United look to break via Fernandes and Rashford down the left, but Rashford loses the ball and Werner capitalises. He plays in Mount, who crosses for Havertz, but De Gea dives low at his front post to smother the ball.
21' Following a run of four defeats in eight home league games, Manchester United are unbeaten in their last seven at Old Trafford, alternating between victory (four) and a draw (three) each time.
19' SAVED!!! Chelsea set up camp on the edge of the United box, with James' inside pass finding Jorginho who glides into the area. He tees up Kante, who shoots first-time, but it's straight into the arms of De Gea.
18' Chelsea build pressure in the United half and Rudiger is encouraged to shoot from distance. He does so, but Varane blocks it before the ball even enters the box.
16' Manchester United have kept a clean sheet in four of their last five Premier League games against Chelsea, having recorded a shutout in just four of their previous 23 against them.
14' Ronaldo picks the ball up in space and tries his luck from 30 yards, but it's a tame effort that Silva can block with ease.
13' OVER!!! Telles' corner is headed away before Matic flicks it back into the box. Varane's header knocks it towards Ronaldo, and the striker sends a wild overhead kick flying over the crossbar!
12' James attempts to find Werner running through again, but a deft header from Varane denies his ball over the top of United's defence.
10' Rudiger looks to pick out Havertz on the run with a brilliant floated ball over the top, but the Chelsea forward can't control it and the ball goes behind for a goal kick.
9' SAVED!!! A first chance for the hosts as McTominay frees up Telles on the left. He floats in a cross, and it's met by Fernandes, whose tame header flies straight into the arms of Mendy!
8' BLOCKED!!! Mount puts James into acres of space down that right-hand side, and he dribbles into the box. He shoots with the outside of his foot, but Rashford gets in the way of it!
7' Manchester United are unbeaten in their last eight home league games against Chelsea, keeping five clean sheets in that run since a 1-0 loss in May 2013.
6' James drives forward again and plays Werner through. He's at a tight angle, firing low at De Gea's near post, but the Reds keeper holds the ball.
5' SAVED!!! Alonso plays it across to James, who in space, tries his luck from the edge of the box. He fires a dipping finish that's parried by De Gea, and United clear before Chelsea's reinforcements arrives!
5' Chelsea are winless in eight Premier League games against Manchester United – only against Arsenal (19 between 1995 and 2005) and Blackburn Rovers (12 between 1992 and 1998) have they had a longer run without a win in the competition.
4' A Chelsea free-kick is headed clear but Mount picks it up on the left, driving towards the box and firing a shot from the edge of it, which Lindelof blocks away from danger.
2' Havertz taps the ball past Lindelof and looks to beat him around the outside, but the Swede wins possession and plays it long to Ronaldo, who is flagged for offside.
1' Werner kicks off for Chelsea, and we are underway in Manchester!
The teams head out onto the pitch, and we’re almost ready to go at Old Trafford!
Chelsea’s defence is bolstered by the return of Reece James and Antonio Rudiger, the latter of whom announced he will be leaving Chelsea at the end of the season.
United’s first-choice XI is affected by injury, with both Jadon Sancho and Harry Maguire missing; Marcus Rashford comes in to replace the former.
CHELSEA SUBS: Kepa Arrizabalaga, Romelu Lukaku, Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Trevoh Chalobah, Saul Niguez, Hakim Ziyech, Kenedy, Malang Sarr.
CHELSEA (3-4-3): Edouard Mendy; Cesar Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva, Antonio Rudiger; Reece James, N’Golo Kante, Jorginho, Marcos Alonso; Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, Timo Werner.
MANCHESTER UNITED SUBS: Tom Heaton, Dean Henderson, Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Juan Mata, Hannibal Mejbri, Shola Shoretire, Alvaro Fernandez, Alejandro Garnacho.
MANCHESTER UNITED (4-2-3-1): David De Gea; Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Raphael Varane, Alex Telles; Scott McTominay, Nemanja Matic; Anthony Elanga, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford; Cristiano Ronaldo.
Chelsea’s form coming into this one has been patchy too, with the Blues losing at home to both Brentford and Arsenal in their last four games. They conceded four in each of these, but scored six of their own to smash Southampton before a late victory over West Ham in their last game.
The hosts are on a rotten run of form, with the Red Devils only winning once in their last five league games. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick to beat Norwich in that game, and scored United’s only goal in their 3-1 loss to Arsenal last time out.
Hello, and welcome to live coverage of this Premier League fixture, between Manchester United and Chelsea.
