Commentary

Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
Both teams are back in Champions League action next week. Dortmund are at home to Sevilla on Tuesday, while Bayern are away to Viktoria Plzen on Wednesday.
Borussia Dortmund come from two goals down to earn a point against Bayern Munich in Der Klassiker thanks to a 95th-minute equaliser from Anthony Modeste. Goals from Leon Goretzka and Leroy Sane put the visitors into a comfortable lead at Signal Iduna Park and seemingly on their way to a ninth-straight win over Dortmund. However, Modeste turned the game as he provided an assist for Youssoufa Moukoko to get a goal back. Modeste then missed a sitter with seven minutes to go, spurning a chance to equalise. The forward would atone for his mistake with a powerful header at the back post to deny Bayern victory.

Bayern eased past Viktoria Plzen during the week in the Champions League, barely getting out of second gear in a 5-0 triumph. It followed an impressive 4-0 hammering of Bayer Leverkusen, which got their form in the league back on track after a four-match winless run. The campaign has not been plane sailing for Julian Nagelsmann given the turnover in the squad and injuries to key players. He faces a massive challenge tonight, although a win would take them top of the table.
Dortmund have the chance to send out a statement in the Bundesliga tonight in Der Klassiker, beginning the game level on points with Bayern. Edin Terzic's men suffered a disappointing defeat in their last outing in the league, losing 3-2 at the hands of Cologne after taking the lead. It was their second defeat in three games and has taken early wind out of their sails. Die Schwarzgelben responded with a fine performance in the Champions League to hammer Sevilla on the road, and Terzic will be looking for his team to replicate those standards.
Hello and welcome to the live commentary of the Bundesliga clash between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich at Signal Iduna Park.
