Orlando Pirates player ratings after Cape Town City draw: Mpontshane redeems himself, Hotto wasteful

Played like a man with a point to prove having been under pressure after conceding five goals in his last two competitive games.

Mpontshane was colossal in goal, making several incredible saves to keep the tie in the balance and he dominated his area - dealing well with aerial balls.

Composed and visionary, Mosele also had a good game.

Dlamini sent Deon Hotto through on goal three times having become a thorn in City's face - constantly looking to create chances for his teammates.

Makaringe dropped deep into pockets of space and created a chance for Kwame Perprah, and then saw his effort brilliantly saved by Marques.

Had his moments, but he was wasteful.

Pirates' best chances fell for Hotto, but he was let down by his poor finishing as he was either denied by Marques or he found the side-netting.

Caught the eye with his work rate as he pressed the City defenders.
