Cameroon drew 3-3 in an exciting encounter against Serbia at Janoub Stadium on Monday in Group G's World Cup assignment.
The Indomitable Lions started the game without their first-choice keeper Andre Onana who had been replaced by Devis Epassy owing to disciplinary issues.
Having lost their opening match against Switzerland by a solitary goal, the Rigobert Song side were looking for maximum points to improve their chance of advancing to the next phase.
The 29-year-old Epassy replaced Andre Onana in goal. He failed to ensure the defenders marked well for the first goal and conceded a seemingly easy second.
Grew in confidence later into the match and pulled a fantastic save to deny Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Despite scoring the team's first goal, he was shaky at the back and partly to blame for Serbia's first goal. However, he made amends by assisting Aboubakar and initiating the move for the third one.
The former Watford defender gave his best at the back, but communication was their main undoing as seen from the goals conceded. Assisted the first goal.
The 25-year-old started well and even managed to get two attempts in the early exchanges. Lost his influence after the team conceded two goals.
Fai, who plays for Saudi Arabian club Al-Tai, helped in the buildup and bailed out fellow defenders on several occasions.
The 24-year-old Hongla was uncharacteristically poor by his standards. Was replaced in the second half as Rigobert Song aimed at getting a win.
He increased the tempo of the team after an inconsistent first half. Managed to ensure Serbia did not have the freedom in midfield.
The 27-year-old Kunde, was lively in the period he was on the pitch. Had four shots with two on target and created one big chance for his team before being replaced.
Quiet by his standards but still managed two key passes which were not utilised.
Did not get the service he needed especially in the first half. Massively improved after the break and scored the team's equaliser.
This is one game Toko-Ekambi will like to forget. Completed just 66% of his 21 passes and lost possession that led to Serbia's third goal. Christian Bassogog took his place.
Brought life to the Cameroon game, scoring a brilliant goal and assisting the other.
First substitute to score and assist in a single World Cup game for an African nation since 1966.
Replaced Toko-Ekambi on the right and did just enough to ensure pressure was on Serbia.
Came with 10 minutes to go and ensured things were kept tidy.
He didn't have enough time to make a major impact on the indomitable Lions.
Introduced in the 66th minute and managed 100% accuracy on his passes. Was at the right place to stop counter attacks from his department.
