Man Utd star Dalot explains how Ten Hag has made him a 'better man'
- Dalot key for United this season
- Full-back says Ten Hag has helped him
- Coach giving Dalot "confidence"
WHAT HAPPENED? Dalot has been a key player for United this week with some standout performances in the Premier League, including in last week's 1-0 win against West Ham. The Portugal international feels he has improved in several ways over the course of the season, both on and off the field.
WHAT THEY SAID: "I think it's something that you try to improve every single day, not just defensively but offensively," he told Sky Sports. "You always have something that you can add on to your game and obviously the help of this manager and the confidence that he is bringing to me every single week and every single day is helping me to be a better football player, a better man as well.
"So I'm very happy with the confidence that he is giving me and what I want is to give him back on the pitch with games like this [West Ham], moments like this and I think this is the way it should be."
THE BIGGER PICTURE: Dalot, 23, has started all 12 of United's Premier League matches this season and only two teammates have spent more time on the field in the top-flight this season, with both Bruno Fernandes and David de Gea playing just four more minutes.
