Mamelodi Sundowns overcame TS Galaxy 2-1 on Tuesday despite coach Rhulani Mokwena making eight changes to the team which faced Kaizer Chiefs over the weekend.
Therefore, the Brazilians showed their strength in depth with the likes of Sphelele Mkhulise and Gaston Sirino catching the eye during the game which took place at Mbombela Stadium.

De Reuck was strong in possession and dominant in the air which saw him break the deadlock with a header. However, he was substituted just 16 minutes into the game due to an injury.
Showed his qualities amid uncertain Downs future.
Jali's ball-winning ability was on full display and he also rarely gave the ball away as he sparkled as a deep-lying midfielder.
His midfield partnership with Jali was brilliant.
Mkhulise constantly forced the ball forwards, won tackles and took people on to keep Sundowns playing into the final third. He was deservedly named Man of the Match.
Handed his third league start for Downs.
Mbule made a few nice one-touch passes but he was too slow and not physical enough in the first half. He was substituted while looking exhausted in the second-half.
Tried to make things happen for Downs.
Zwane shuttled between the front line and midfield in the first-half. However, his performance waned after the restart and he was withdrawn.
Downs' best attacker on the night.
Sirino was bright from the start and continually looked to drift into open spaces to hurt Galaxy himself. His delivery from set-pieces was also fantastic which saw him grab an assist when De Reuck headed home his corner-kick.
A true hard worker who got rewarded.
Shalulile pressed and harried the Rockets defence and was consistently looking to drive forward. He received his just rewards after comfortably slotting the ball home for Downs' second.

Looked shaky after replacing De Reuck and he was bullied by Traore who ended up scoring.
The Bolivia international showed excellent forward drive and vision having been introduced in the 69th minute.
Never a threat to the Rockets' defence as he was quickly closed down by the hosts having been intrroduce in the 69th minute.
Added some zip to the midfield when he came on with 15 minutes left, but he was unspectacular.
Looked assured in central defence when he came on in the 75th minute and he made a few clearances.
