Match Preview
This will be the first encounter between Guinea - who are making their 13th appearance in the competition and the Flames - who scored six goals in the qualifiers - at Afcon.
Malawi’s two previous appearances at the Africa Cup of Nations were in 1984 and 2010. They finished bottom of their group on both occasions, winning only one of their six matches (D1 L4).
The Cosafa nation will be hoping that their star striker Richard Mbalu - who scored against Uganda, South Sudan and Uganda in the qualifiers - will be on top of his game and produce critical goals for them in the tournament.
