GOAL predicts Amakhosi's starting line-up.

  • Daniel Akpeyi, Kaizer Chiefs

    GOALKEEPER - Daniel Akpeyi

The experienced shot-stopper served as Amakhosi's first-choice keeper before he lost his place in the team to Brandon Peterson late last year.

  • Njabulo Blom kaizer Chiefs

    RIGHT WING-BACK - Njabulo Blom

The former South Africa under-20 international operated as a right wing-back against Pirates and he kept Deon Hotto quiet.

A central midfielder by trade, Blom might continue in this position against Abafana Bes'thende.

  • Reeve Frosler Khama Billiat March 2022 Kaizer Chiefs

    LEFT WING-BACK - Reeve Frosler

The former Bidvest Wits full-back has fitted perfectly in the left wing-back position with Sifiso Hlanti unavailable due to a long-term injury.

  • Njabulo Ngcobo, Kaizer Chiefs, February 2022

    CENTRAL DEFENDER - Njabulo Ngcobo

The reigning PSL Defender of the Season made his first appearance of the year against Pirates having recovered from his injury.
Ngcobo is most likely to be assigned to man-mark Arrows' hard-running striker Michael Gumede.

  • Daniel Cardoso, Kaizer Chiefs, August 2021

    CENTRAL DEFENDER - Daniel Cardoso

The current season has seen the 32-year-old rise and establish himself as Chiefs' first-choice centre back.

Cardoso is set to make it his 20th appearance across all competitions this season having made 18 starts in the process.

  • Erick Mathoho, Kaizer Chiefs, September 2021

    CENTRAL DEFENDER - Erick Mathoho

The veteran defender was the hero for Amakhosi in the Soweto Derby encounter as he snatched a late winning goal to earn his side a 2-1 win over Pirates.

Among the tallest players in the PSL, Mathoho will pose a big threat to Abafana Bes'thende from aerial balls.

  • Kearyn Baccus of Kaizer Chiefs, November 2021

    CENTRAL MIDFIELDER - Kearyn Baccus

The 30-year-old replaced an injured Billiat in the first-half and he brought some needed stability and creativity to Chiefs' midfield.
Baccus could be rewarded with a starting berth having made six appearances in the league in the current campaign.

  • Phathutshedzo Nange, Kaizer Chiefs, August 2021

    CENTRAL MIDFIELDER - Phathutshedzo Nange

The former Stellenbosch FC star is the glue that keeps the Glamour Boys' midfield together.
Nange, who has impressed in his debut season with the Soweto giants, will be up against Arrows' star midfielder Nqobeko Dlamini.

  • Keagan Dolly, Kaizer Chiefs, October 2021

    FORWARD - Keagan Dolly

The Bafana Bafana international registered his fourth assist of the season in the league when he set up Mathoho for the winning goal against Pirates.

Dolly's sharp movement, passing and crossing abilities are likely to create problems for Abafana Bes'thende.

  • Bernard Parker of Kaizer Chiefs.

    FORWARD - Bernard Parker

The experienced attacker produced one of his best performances of the campaign against Pirates and he walked away with the Man of the Match award.

Parker will be determined to lead Chiefs to their 11th league of the season which would boost the team's hopes of challenging for this season's PSL title.

  • Samir Nurkovic of Kaizer Chiefs

    CENTRE FORWARD - Samir Nurkovic

Having missed the game against Pirates due to suspension, Nurkovic is now available for selection and he could be recalled to the starting line-up - replacing the injured Billiat.

Nurkovic has played seven competitive matches this term without scoring and he will be eager to open his scoring account for the campaign.
