Kaizer Chiefs skipper Bernard Parker led by example in Amakhosi's Soweto derby win over Orlando Pirates at Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
Beaten late on by Olisa Ndah but was rescued by the woodwork. Did okay otherwise and was not overly tested on the day, right until injury time when he made a brilliant reflex stop to deny Terrence Dzvukamanja.
It was Blom's mistake which led to the Pirates counter-attack which resulted in their equaliser. Didn't offer his usual overlapping down the right wing either.
Looked lethargic and was caught out badly several times, lucky not to concede a goal. However, there was redemption when he arrived at the near post 10 minutes from time to convert from close range for the winning goal.
Solid and uncompromising, he had a good game although could perhaps have got in a block on the cross which led to Pirates' goal.
Scored brilliantly with a swerving effort from outside the box and showed good adventure to have been in that position. Also defended well to keep Bandile Shandu and Kabelo Dlamini quiet.
Industrious in midfield, put in some telling balls into the Pirates box and did well to weight the pass which led to Frosler's goal. Led by example with a gutsy performance.
Not great in terms of distribution, but did well to shield the defence.
A workaholic display by the former Black Leopards man who did a lot of the dirty work in the Amakhosi engine room.
Billiat was involved in the opening goal, and also made the pass which led to Keagan Dolly's goal, which was ruled offside incorrectly. Otherwise didn't do much before his afternoon was ended prematurely with what looked like a hamstring injury in the 38th minute.
Didn't play too badly, but couldn't really get into the game and failed to take his opportunity of a rare start after being subbed at the interval for Leonardo Castro.
Unlucky to have a well-taken first half ruled offside with replays suggesting it should have stood. Superb corner led to Mathoho's winner.
Came on in the 38th minute for an injured Billiat and had a solid but unspectacular game.
Came on for the second half but had very little impact before being forced off injured just 18 minutes later.
Lively, threatened the Pirates defence a couple of times, but with no end product.
Nearly caught out at the end when Dzvukamanja almost scored; Mphahlele had Petersen to thank for a fantastic save.
Helped shored things up for the final 10 minutes.
