According to reports, PSG’s sporting advisor Luis Ocampos is in the mix to table an offer for the center-back as he looks to revamp the Parisians after another European exit.

The French media outlet also suggests that the 26-year-old will also be able to foreign clubs between July 1 to 15, 2023 for a fee in the region of €45m to €50m.

Although the fee seems to have risen to €52.5m, the French giants will have no problem to shell out the money for a star defender with Marquinhos and Ramos reaching the twilight of their respective careers.

According to L’Equipe, Lionel Messi is increasingly uncertain of extending his deal with Paris Saint-Germain beyond this summer when his current contract expires.

A meeting took place this afternoon between the Argentine forward’s father, Jorge, and the Ligue 1 leaders’ management in Paris, but no agreement was reached. The report adds that a second meeting is scheduld to take place in the coming days.

Per the French publication, Messi has grown frustrated by the situation at the reigning Ligue 1 champions. Behind the scenes, he is said to have expressed reservations about the club's plan to centre their project around wantaway Kylian Mbappe.

Messi has been linked with a mega-money move to Inter Miami, owned by England icon David Beckham. His family are reportedly open to moving to the United States.

PSG identify Lautaro Martinez as top target to replace wantaway Mbappe


With Kylian Mbappe said to be desperate to push through an exit in 2023, and Lionel Messi's contract at the club also due to expire at the end of the season amid Barcelona return rumours, PSG are likely to splash big cash on a new centre-forward next summer.

And according to Gazzetta dello Sport, they have identified Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez as their top target to replace Mbappe.

They recently contacted his agent Alejandro Camano to know about the Argentinean’s availability, and are ready to pay in the region of €75m to bring the 25-year-old Argentina international to the French capital.

PSG receive boost in Milan Skriniar pursuit


Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly been handed a boost in their quest to sign Inter Milan's defensive stalwart Milan Skriniar amid competition from Barcelona.

Regarded as one of the best and most consistent defenders in Serie A, Skriniar is in the final year of his contract with Inter, leading to speculation over his future with Barcelona and PSG both interested in his services.

However, it appears the French champions will hold the upper hand in any potential transfer tug-of-war, with the player not considering a move to Barcelona as an option at this point in time.

Instead, the Slovakian is weighing up the possibility of signing for Paris Saint-Germain or extending his current deal at San Siro, as per Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t SPORT).

PSG have a 'concrete interest' in William Saliba


According to reputed journalist Ben Jacobs, PSG are interested in Arsenal defender William Saliba, who has yet to sign a new deal.

PSG and Marseille were both keen on Saliba before he cemented himself in the Arsenal first team. The Parisians are still on the lookout for defenders and could revisit their interest in the Gunners defender.

Speaking on the Football Terrace Youtube channel, quotes relayed by the Boot Room, Jacobs said: “He’s still coming to terms with a lot of voices in his ear. It’s not just Marseille, it’s PSG saying ‘if you’re that uncertain or unsure about Arsenal, we can potentially bring you in’. PSG are definitely still looking for defenders. I see no reason he would want to leave but the only caveat there is he did love living in France.

“If PSG did come in, it might give him a decision to make. It is still highly likely Saliba signs. Arsenal have confidence but there is a lot more concrete interest around Saliba.”

PSG are interested in Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix, as per AS.

Lionel Messi's future at PSG is still in doubt with the Argentine's contract set to expire at the end of the season. And in case, Messi does not renew, PSG are reportedly set to make a move for Felix whose future at Atletico Madrid is also unclear.

Paris Saint-Germain have set their sights on Real Madrid's defensive youth prodigy Rafa Marin, according to a report from Spanish outlet Marca.

PSG recruitment advisor Luis Campos is a big admirer of Marin and wants him for the club’s long-term future. The 20-year-old centre-back is under contract until 2024 and has a release clause worth €30m, which PSG are hoping to benefit from. 

With Sergio Ramos’ contract expiring at the end of the season, and Danilo Pereira playing out of position owing to Presnel Kimpembe current injury, Christophe Galtier could use another center-back this January window to improve depth at his disposal.

PSG will try to convince former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane to take helm of the club in January, according to Media Foot.

With Kylian Mbappe looking to leave the club in January, with manager Christophe Galtier and Luis Campos following him, PSG is reportedly looking to revamp their club structure.

The first step of this process will reportedly be hiring Zidane, who has always been a target for PSG, but rebuffed their approaches earlier as he wants to coach France.

According to Media Foot, PSG could fire president and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi after rumours emerged that the club board had employed an agency to create multiple fake social media profiles to attack their players online, including the likes of Kylian Mbappe.

Al-Khelaifi's position hasn't been in such danger since he took over in 2011. The report states that he has already lost influence at PSG to give sporting director Luis Campos more decision-making power.

Sporting director Luis Campos has now come out to address Mbappe's future with the Ligue 1 champions as well as his own.

Speaking to Canal+, Campos said: "I am here to clearly deny, he [Mbappe] did not speak to me or to my president about leaving in January. This question never came up and we never talked about it."

On his own future, Campos added: "It's not true that I'm leaving Paris. I'm very happy to be here, I'm under contract for the next three years. My mission is to bring important trophies here at PSG".

Mbappe 'flying to Madrid on Wednesday' for event with teammates


Kylian Mbappe will fly to Madrid on Wednesday with three Paris Saint-Germain teammates, including Sergio Ramos, to be a guest of honour at a bullfight, according to Spanish radio station COPE, via The Mirror.

The news has surfaced hours after it was reported that Mbappe expressed his desire to leave PSG in the upcoming January transfer window. He signed a new deal with the club in summer after turning down a move to Real, but will now find himself appearing in the city for non-footballing reasons.

Real Madrid's Dani Ceballos and Nacho Fernandez are also expected to attend the event.
