Commentary

That's all from us, we hope you enjoyed the game. Until the next time, goodbye!
That resounding three-goal victory sends Scotland to second in Group B1, behind Ukraine, who have played a game less, on goal difference only. That win was the perfect response to the 3-0 loss to Ireland, whilst Armenia remain bottom and look a long way off qualifying with such an ill-disciplined performance.
Che Adams scored Scotland's fourth and final goal, finishing the game with three shots on target from four attempts and an assist, as well as a block and interception in defence. He also contested nine duels, the second-most of any Scotland player. Frontman.
The match ends in acrimonious circumstances, with that late card and brawl marring a dominant display from Scotland. The visitors sealed the victory early in the half, with McGinn and Adams' goals providing the icing on the cake in a performance that showed how good Steve Clarke's men can be when playing with freedom. Their Nations League campaign is back on track, whilst Armenia's two moments of madness looks to have squandered any chance they had of qualifying, after such a good start to this game.
90' + 4' FULL-TIME: ARMENIA 1-4 SCOTLAND.
90' + 4' A back-pass to Yurchenko is chased down by Brown, and the goalkeeper's clearance bounces off the Scotland forward and goes behind!
90' + 3' BLOCKED!!! Armstrong flicks the ball onto Campbell in the box, whose low shot is blocked by Dashyan and goes behind for a corner!
S. McTominay
Yellow Card
90' + 1' McTominay is also booked by the referee, as his reaction to the initial challenge sparked the melee between both sets of players.
K. Hovhannisyan
Red Card
90' + 1' RED CARD!!! Again!!! Hovhannisyan fouls Turnbull before sliding in studs-up on Ferguson, and it's another really nasty challenge that warrants a straight red from the referee's pocket! A huge fracas breaks out between both sides, and this game just does not let up!
90' We'll play four minutes of added time to close out this game.
89' There's a nasty clash of heads between McTominay and Hendry at an Armenia corner, and the two Scotland defenders are down on the deck with play brought to a halt.
87' BLOCKED!!! Udo is found with a long ball and tees up Serobyan. He beats a challenge before squaring to Hovhannisyan, but his shot is blocked by Hendry before Ferguson puts it behind for a corner!
A. Campbell
G. Hanley
86' Hanley comes off in Scotland's latest change, and is replaced by Allan Campbell.
85' WIDE!!! Haroyan carries the ball forward, through little pressure, before finding Hovhannisyan with a deflected throughball. He's one-on-one with Gordon, but blazes his close-range shot wide of the target!
A. Serobyan
T. Barseghyan
84' Barseghyan leaves the field with his head held high after a great performance in a beaten team, and he's replaced for the last few minutes by Artur Serobyan.
84' Armenia look to carry the ball out of defence, but Udo is brought down by Taylor as he looks to turn out of the challenge and wins free-kick.
82' Scotland look to pin Armenia in their own half, but Brown is penalised for his close attention paid to Hovhannisyan and the hosts get a reprieve.
80' Armstrong plays a good reverse ball forward for McGregor to run onto, but he and Brown get in each others' way and Armenia win the ball back.
78' Scotland keep the ball superbly as the hosts can't get near them, but they are forced wide by Armenia and Ralston's high cross from the right flies straight out of play.
76' Dashyan is dragged to the floor by Ferguson on the far touchline, with the free-kick decision bringing a good period of Scottish off-the-ball pressure to an end.
J. Brown
C. Adams
74' Adams has been outstanding for Scotland in this game, and is appreciated massively by their travelling fans as he comes off for Jacob Brown.
72' Ferguson plays a good one-two with Turnbull and races into the box looking to reach the return pass. Yurchenko is also out for it though, and is caught by the Scotland substitute on the ground as he smothers the ball.
71' BLOCKED!! Haroyan's deft free-kick puts Mkrtchyan in a shooting position, but it's Adams who slides across to block his shot! He's been immense at both ends!
69' SAVED!!! Barseghyan, Armenia's most dangerous player by far in this game, takes the ball on the turn and has a pop from 35 yards! It's a swerving, dipping effort, which Gordon sees right at the last second and tips around the post just in time!
67' Armenia have lost consecutive UEFA Nations League games, after a run of just one defeat in 10 games in the competition.
65' SAVED!!! Adams takes a pass from Turnbull and rounds his marker, smashing a powerful shot on the angle that is tipped over the bar by Yurchenko!
A. Ralston
N. Patterson
64' Patterson's assist was the highlight of his performance, and Anthony Ralston, who scored in the return fixture in Glasgow, comes on at right-wing-back.
D. Turnbull
J. McGinn
64' Captain McGinn also comes off, having scored their third goal, and David Turnbull replaces him.
L. Ferguson
B. Gilmour
63' The Scots make a triple-change, the first of which sees Gilmour come off for Lewis Ferguson.
61' WIDE!!! After Hovhannisyan is dispossessed, Scotland race clear and it comes to Armstrong on the edge of the box. He smashes a right-footed effort, which beats Yurchenko, but also the post as it flashes wide!
S. Udo
V. Bichakhchyan
59' Armenia goalscorer Bichakhchyan is the next to come off, replaced by Solomon Udo up front.
K. Hovhannisyan
K. Bayramyan
59' Bayramyan is also withdrawn, to be replaced by Kamo Hovhannisyan.
W. Angulo
E. Spertsyan
59' Armenia make further changes, bringing off Spertsyan for Wbeymar Angulo to replace him in midfield.
57' Taylor finds Armstrong in a more central position, but his effort from a tight angle inside the box flashes well wide of the post.
55' With just the minutes played in the second half, Scotland have already doubled their first-half goal tally, and with the way they're playing, you wouldn't bet against them adding even more!
S. Armstrong
Assist
53' Armstrong's pace and power saw him break through Armenia's packed midfield, and the vision to find Adams was even better! What a combination those two have been in this game.
C. Adams
Goal
53' GOOOOAAAALLLL!!! It's four!!! Scotland intercept an attacking ball from Armenia and race up the field. Armstrong finds Adams on the run, who races away from the defence before cutting inside and firing a low shot into the bottom corner! 4-1 and cruising, Scotland have all but secured three Nations League points now!
51' The red card for the wing-back Hovhannisyan has clearly forced a defensive re-shuffle for the hosts, and the width sacrificed in that change has been taken advantage of by Scotland's wide attackers.
N. Patterson
Assist
50' The control of that aerial ball from Patterson was excellent, and he set up McGinn to finish superbly, and perhaps put this game beyond Armenia's reach.
J. McGinn
Goal
50' GOOOAAAALLLL!!!! Scotland have a third!!! Taylor's cross from the left is found by his opposite wing-back Patterson, who cuts the ball back for McGinn to turn and fire home from close range!!! A composed finish from the Scottish captain, and his side now lead 3-1!
H. Hambardzumyan
Yellow Card
48' Hendry does well to dispossess Bayramyan on the touchline, but is barrelled over by Hambardzumyan as he brings the ball back in-field. The Armenia defender is booked for his troubles.
E. Spertsyan
Yellow Card
47' Spertsyan clips Arsmtrong late as the Scotland goalscorer passes to Adams, and is shown a yellow card by the referee.
46' CHANCE!! Gilmour strides through midfield and flicks the ball over the defence for Adams to chase. He's closing in, but Yurchenko gathers the bouncing ball before he can get to it, and the offside flag soon goes up!
46' Armenia get us back underway, and the second half is off and running!
S. Mkrtchyan
A. Grigoryan
46' Armenia make a half-time change, bringing off Grigoryan for Styopa Mkrtchyan.
The sides head back out for the second half, and will the next 45 minutes be as topsy-turvy as the first?
Armstrong's two goals provide the difference so far, scoring with both of his shots on target. He's had another effort blocked, as well as crossing once from open play and completing 95 per cent of his passes. Clinical.
The first half comes to an end, and what a half it's been! The hosts hit Scotland on the break early to scorer a brilliant counter-attacking goal, but Armstrong's equaliser locked up the scores less than 10 minutes later! It looked like hallf-time would come with the scores level, but Hovhannisyan's red card and Armstrong's superb strike provided two late twists!
45' + 3' HALF-TIME: ARMENIA 1-2 SCOTLAND.
J. McGinn
Assist
45' + 1' The flick from McGinn was a good one, but Armstrong still had a hell of a lot to do, and the Southampton forward finished it superbly!
S. Armstrong
Goal
45' + 1' GOOOOAAALLLLL!!!! What a strike!!! Scotland play the ball around the Armenia box well, and McGinn flicks it through to Armstrong. He touches the ball beyond Haroyan before sliding in to strike it, and it squeezes past Yurchenko into the bottom corner! 2-1 to the Scots, and this game takes yet another twist!
45' We'll play three minutes of added time to close out an action-packed first half.
44' RED CARD!!! Hovhannisyan is shown a second yellow immediately after the first, and following that the red card comes out and he's off! It looks to be for dissent, and the hosts are down to 10 men!
A. Hovhannisyan
Yellow Card
44' Patterson is sent flying by a flying challenge from Hovhannisyan, and it's a nasty one that immediately warrants a yellow card!
43' Hashyan looks to give Bichakhchyan a shooting chance with a good throughball, but the striker can't quite connect with the ball as he slides into the six-yard box.
42' Armstrong is bundled to the floor but nothing is given by the referee - he's been extremely lenient in this first half, giving both sides ample chances to be as physical as they like.
40' Scotland are still level in this game, despite having the lion's share of possession with 71.2 per cent of ball control. They've also completed 248 passes so far, with Armenia yet to reach a ton of passes with just 96.
38' BLOCKED!!! McTominay splits the Armenia defence wide open with his throughball for McGinn. He races into the box with Adams unmarked at the far post, but his ball to the striker is put behind by Haroyan with a crucial block!
36' BLOCKED!!! Scotland play a free-kick routine which plays Gilmour into space down the right, but his low cross into the area is blocked behind for a corner!
35' McGinn cuts inside Hovhannisyan and looks to release Adams, but he's dragged to ground by the Armenia left-back and wins a free-kick.
33' CHANCE!!! A poor pass forward is made good by Bichakhchyan, who wins the ball from Hendry and shoots from a tight angle, with Gordon required to parry it away for Scotland!
V. Haroyan
Yellow Card
32' Haroyan takes an age to take a routine throw-in, and is booked for time-wasting by the referee.
31' CHANCE!!! Adams tees up Hendry to run in and cross, but his ball across goal is missed by McGinn, and Patterson arrives to mis-kick the ball and send it spiralling behind him!
30' Armenia look to exploit Scotland's sleepy defence on that right-hand-side, but Hanley is wise to this long ball and passes back to the safety of Gordon.
28' CHANCE!!! Adams recieves Gilmour's pass by flicking it through the legs of a defender. He shoots from the edge of the area, but it's a floated effort that easily falls into Yurchenko's gloves.
26' Armenia have won five of their six home matches in the Nations League, losing just once and keeping a clean sheet in their last four at home. Their chance of a clean sheet is gone, but with the way they're playing, they certainly are capable of extending that impressive record!
24' CHANCE!!! A ball played wide to Barseghyan is missed by Hendry, and the Armenia forward races down the right once more. His options can't keep up with the Scottish cover though, and he's eventually crowded out, passing to Bayramyan whose shot pops up into Gordon's gloves.
22' A cross in the box towards Haroyan is headed away, but only as far as Dashyan, who catches McGinn as he swings back his foot to shoot and concedes the free-kick.
C. Adams
Yellow Card
20' Adams jumps for a high ball but catches the face of Mkoyan with his elbow, and picks up the game's first yellow card as a result.
19' BLOCKED!!! Bayramyan turns provider this time, putting Barseghyan through on goal. He dummies to beat Gordon, but his chipped effort is blocked by Hendry with the goal begging! What an end-to-end game this is so far!
18' BALL IN THE NET!!! A ball over the top finds Bayramyan in acres of space. He arrives in the box, shooting against the leg of McTominay, but gets the ball back before rounding Gordon and squeezing the ball into the corner! The flag's up though, and so the goal will not count!
16' Following their 2-0 win over Armenia at Hampden Park earlier this month in the Nations League, Scotland are looking to win home and away against a nation in the competition for a third time, also doing so against Albania in 2018 and the Czech Republic in 2020.
C. Adams
Assist
14' The ball to Adams was a difficult one to control, but the skill from the Scotland striker to take it away from the defence and then pass it back to his Southampton team-mate, with a bicycle kick no less, was just sublime!
S. Armstrong
Goal
14' GOOOOAAALLLL!!! The Scots hit back!!! Taylor's ball into the box finds Adams, who brings it down before acrobatically flicking back to Armstrong, who slots the ball beyond Yurchenko and into the back of the net! 1-1, and we're back level in no time at all!
13' Scotland look to work the ball up the wings, but Armstrong's wide pass to Taylor is a loose one and the wing-back can't keep the ball in play.
11' After an inside ball accidentally hits the referee, he calls play on and Barseghyan surges through the middle, before being yanked to the floor by McGregor to win a free-kick!
9' SAVED!! After Armstrong wins a corner for Scotland, it's played short to Gilmour on the edge of the box. He smashes an effort towards Yurchenko's near post, but the Armenia keeper tips it wide!
8' Only Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been involved in more goals for Armenia in the Nations League than Barseghyan (5 – 2 goals, 3 assists), with three of their last seven goals in the competition coming via assists from Barseghyan.
T. Barseghyan
Assist
6' The run from Barseghyan from end-to-end was absolutely superb there, and his hard work gave Bichakhchyan the easiest of finishes!
V. Bichakhchyan
Goal
6' GOOOOAAAALLLLL!!!!! Armenia hit the front!!! After McGregor goes down on the edge of the hosts' box, nothing is given and Barseghyan races up the wing, rounding Hanley and arriving in the box, before squaring to Bichakhchyan who fires it home! 1-0 after just six minutes, and the home side are off to a flyer here!
4' Taylor cuts inside from the left and has a shot from the edge of the area, but it's blocked away by the hosts!
3' This is only the second ever meeting between Armenia and Scotland, with the other coming earlier this month in the UEFA Nations League, a 2-0 win for the Scots.
1' Adams kicks off for Scotland, and we're underway in Yerevan!
The two sides head onto the pitch, and following the anthems, we'll be underway!

Having made eight changes to their team for their 3-0 loss to Ukraine last time out, Armenia make another six for this game, with Cadiz defender Varazdat Haroyan coming in to captain the side in the centre of their back five.
