Orlando Pirates Player Ratings: Saleng outstanding as Dzvukamanja proves point against Golden Arrows
Orlando Pirates grabbed two late goals to secure a 3-1 win against Lamontville Golden Arrows in Saturday's PSL match.
It was a game which saw Monnapule Saleng produce a brilliant performance, while coach Jose Riveiro's substitutes also impressed.

Kept his place in the team despite Siyabonga Mpontshane's return from injury.
Chaine was as assured in goal, and he made the saves to keep Arrows at bay. He was just unlucky to concede when Velemseni Ndwandwe netted with a deflected shot. - Backpagepix
Bandile Shandu - 7.5/10
Good display in the right flank.
Shandu displayed all of his playmaking abilities from right-back and he provided the assist for the opening goal, while also being solid defensively. However, he was substituted at half-time due to an injury. -

Kept reported Pirates target Pule Mmodi quiet.
Maela defended excellently across the match. However, the Pirates captain did not offer much going forward as he was more focused on containing Mmodi.

Up against his former Arrows teammates.
Sibisi lost track of Ndwandwe for Arrows' goal in an otherwise positive display from the Bucs defender. Impressed with his distribution from the back again. -

A solid display from the lanky centre-back.

Kept things simple.

Strong performance in midfield.
Timm was aggressive in the middle of the park as he made well-timed tackles and he also played some accurate passes. He is slowly becoming Pirates' best midfielder. - Backpagepix

Couldn't make an impact.
Dlamini failed to link the midfield with the attack during his time on the pitch as most of his passes were intercepted. He was substituted just after the hour-mark. -

Monnapule Saleng - 8/10
Man of the Match display.
Saleng was the heartbeat of Pirates' attack - using his mesmerizing dribbling skills and blistering speed to unsettled the Arrows defence. He broke the deadlock before providing the assist for Dzvukamanja's goal. - Backpagepix.
Deon Hotto - 6.5/10
Full of running.
Hotto took up promising positions inside to allow his teammates acres of space on the left-flank. He worked hard to maintain the press from the front. - backpagepix

Introduced on in the 64th minute and he passed the ball well in closed spaces to help build Bucs attacks, and kept things simple before grabbing a well-taken goal.

Terrence Dzvukamanja - 7.5/10
Came into the game having been written off with his agent Mike Makaab having confirmed that he is in the process of finding a new club for the Zimbabwe international.
Dzvukamanja played like a man with a point to prove after coming on in the 74th minute as he showed good link-up play and good movement while leading the attack which saw score with a close range header. - Backpagepix.
