Mamelodi Sundowns brushed aside Stellenbosch FC 3-0 in a PSL encounter that was played on Wednesday evening.
Having dropped points when they drew with Sekhukhune United on Saturday, Masandawana produced a dominant performance against Stellies.
Several Downs players brought their A games, including Thapelo Morena, Peter Shalulile, and Rushine de Reuck.

Williams was always alert when Stellies launched a rare attack - producing two saves throughout the match. He commanded his area very well.
Played well defensively.
Modiba was more concerned with stopping Stellies' pacey attacker, Antonio van Wyk, and he contained the youngster. He was substituted towards the end of the game.
A lively figure on the right flank.
Mudau spent most of his time in Stellies' half as Downs pressed the visitors. His crosses and passes from the right created problems for the Stellies' defence.
Rarely tested on the night.
Stellies were playing without a centre forward and Mandela was not seriously tested defensively. He won most of his aerial duels when Downs were defending against aerial balls.
Good performance.
De Reuck is a true leader at the heart of the Downs defence. He organised the defence while being vocal and solid defensively. He came close to scoring when his header was tipped over the crossbar by goalkeeper Sage Stephens.
Brilliant on his return to the team.
Jali flourished as a deep-lying midfielder - making some important interceptions when Stellies were looking to link up in Downs' half. He also looked comfortable on the ball and distributed it with aplomb.

Mokoena carried the ball forward and combined well with his teammates in Stellies' half. He came close to scoring when his rasping shot hit the crossbar with Stephens well beaten.
Worked his socks off.
Maema's unpredictable movement unsettled the Stellies defence and he got himself in good positions which led to him scoring after pouncing onto a loose ball in the visitors' box. He was substituted towards the end of the game while looking exhausted.
Not at his best on the night.
However, Zwane's link up play was good, but Stellies ensured that he didn't enter their box with the ball at his feet. He was substituted just after the hour-mark.
Played just 26 minutes.
Sirino's combination play was good as he looked to create chances for his teammates, but unfortunately, he had to be substituted after picking up an injury.
Never stopped running.
Shalulile pressed and hurried Stellies defenders, which left the visitors giving away possession in their own half. He opened the scoring with a sublime finish, and he was also involved in the build up to the other two goals.
Proved to be an inspired substitute - using his blistering speed to get himself into good positions, which saw him grab two assists on the night.
Named Man of the Match.
Came on in the 68th minute and he played some incisive passes which unlocked the Stellies defence.
Brought some creativity and urgency to the Downs attack when he came on in the 68th minute, but he also showed off his finishing ability when he beat Stephens with a sublime strike.
Introduced with 14 minutes left and he was not tested defensively, which saw him make a few forward runs without threatening Stellies.
Looked to beat his markers with his mesmerising dribbling skills, but Stellies' defenders did well to contain him having been introduced in the 76th minute.
