Tusker maintained their upward surge in Kenyan Premier League after they beat Zoo Kericho 2-0 on Wednesday.

George Mandela and Humphrey Mieno scored for the champions in the first half as the brewers' moved up the table after a rather shaky start to the season. The brewers' coach George Nsimbe hailed the performance of his side and promised that a lot was yet to come from the side.

"It was a top class display from my lads. They deserved maximum points because they played well, were composed on the ball and used the chances they created. We needed to start winning matches and I am happy that is happening now."
