Both teams are back in domestic action on Saturday. Tottenham host Everton in the Premier League, while Frankfurt take on Bayer Leverkusen at home in the Bundesliga.
Tottenham hold out at the end to win an entertaining Champions League clash 3-2 against Eintracht Frankfurt, moving them top of Group D after four matches. Daichi Kamada put the visitors ahead following a mistake by Eric Dier, but Spurs responded through Son Heung-min before Harry Kane scored from the penalty spot after an intervention from VAR. Son notched his second to put Spurs two goals to the good with a brilliant finish on the volley. Frankfurt were reduced to 10 men in the second half when Tuta was dismissed for two bookable offences in the space of three minutes for fouls on Son. However, the German outfit kept going and Faride Alidou ensured it would be a tense finish. Kane should have put the game away with his second penalty, only to blaze his effort over the bar. Spurs edged their way over the line to earn a vital victory in their bid to reach the knockout stage.
