Commentary

That's all for today, goodbye!
Denmark had to win to give themselves a chance of qualifying for the Nations League Finals, but they just miss out after Croatia beat Austria 3-1 in the other group game. That does mean that France avoid relegation to League B though. Both teams will now be looking forward to the World Cup in November.
Two first-half goals help Denmark to a 2-0 win over France. Dolberg opened the scoring for the hosts in the 34th minute, stretching to poke Damsgaard's cross past Areola. Olsen then doubled their lead five minutes later when France failed to clear a corner, and he picked out the bottom corner. France had a better second half, but Schmeichel made some good saves to deny Mbappe and Griezmann to protect his clean sheet.

Kasper Hjulmund makes just three changes to the side that lost to Croatia last time out, bringing Kristensen, Dolberg and Damsgaard into the starting line-up. Denmark missed the chance to qualify for the Nations League Finals last time out when they lost to Croatia. They have to win today and hope that Croatia don't if they want to top the group. They've won three of their five games in the competition so far this campaign (L2), including a 2-0 win over France on MD1. Les Blues got their first Nations League win against Austria last time out to move off the bottom of the table after going winless in their opening four games (D2 L2). However, they will be relegated if they don't win and Austria do, but matching Austria's result will be enough to keep the reigning champions in League A.
