Thanks for joining us for live coverage of the 2-2 draw between Brighton and Hove Albion and Southampton in the Premier League.
The point for the hosts means that they move up a place to 11th, but they miss the chance to move into the top half. They will travel to Wolves next as they look to get back in the winning column. The draw for the Saints keeps them in 13th place, and they'll host Crystal Palace next time out as they look for a strong finish to the season.
The referee has blown the whistle on a lively game, with honours even after a 2-2 draw. It was the hosts who got off to the quick start, as Welbeck tapped a Cucurella cross home after just two minutes. After a lengthy delay for a serious injury to Livramento, the hosts' lead was then doubled as Salisu deflected a Trossard through-ball into the back of his own net. Ward-Prowse grabbed a goal back just before half-time with a superb free-kick, before he got his side back on level terms with a brilliant drive after a Romeu backheel in the 54th minute, and that is how it remained.
90' + 2' Bednarek gets in with an important header to nod a March cross away from danger, as he beats Welbeck to the ball.
90' The fourth official puts up his board, indicating that there will be four minutes of additional time at the end of this game.
89' Ward-Prowse goes for his hat-trick as he lets fly with a half-volley from distance, but he drags his effort a little and the ball goes well wide.
88' Romeu leaps highest to meet an Armstrong cross, but the Spaniard's header goes over. That was a decent chance for the visitors.
J. Sarmiento
N. Maupay
85' Sarmiento comes on in place of Maupay.
85' Walker-Peters lashes a left-footed shot well over the bar, after a cross was headed out to him.
83' Brighton have only won one of their last 13 home league games.
81' Can either side find a late winner here?
A. Broja
S. Long
79' Long makes way for Broja up top for the visitors.
79' The VAR check has shown that Gross was indeed marginally offside, and the goal is ruled out.
78' The hosts think they are back in the lead as Gross fires in from 25 yards out, but the flag goes up for offside. This will be checked by VAR though.
76' Long is brought down just as he dribbles into the Brighton box, but his claims for a penalty are waved away by the referee.
74' Armstrong lets fly from distance, though his effort is poor and flies well over Sanchez's goal.
72' The Seagulls have ended a run of five straight home league games without scoring.
70' Trossard does really well to win a corner when the ball looked as if it was going to run out of play. The resulting corner goes all the way through to March, but his shot from a tight angle is easily saved by Forster.
68' Some more nice interplay from the visitors leads to a corner, but Ward-Prowse's delivery is headed wide by Long at the near post.
S. Armstrong
N. Tella
66' Tella comes off for Armstrong.
64' The Saints are looking the more likely side to grab the fifth goal of this game. They've just had a couple of corners in succession, though Brighton were able to deal with them.
P. Groß
A. Webster
61' Gross also comes on for Webster.
S. March
E. Mwepu
61' Mwepu makes way for March.
60' Long tries to curl the ball into the far corner, but Sanchez is able to dive to his left and catch the shot relatively easily.
58' Mac Allister tries to float a cross over from a free-kick, but he overhits it and the ball flies out for a goal-kick.
56' Welbeck is bundled over by Perraud on the touchline although no free-kick is awarded, much to the striker's frustration.
Oriol Romeu
54' Romeu's flick was perfectly-weighted to allow Ward-Prowse to lash home.
J. Ward-Prowse
54' What a goal!!! Romeu cleverly backheels the ball to Ward-Prowse just outside the area, and the midfielder adds his second of the game by rifling the ball first-time into the bottom left corner past Sanchez to make it 2-2.
52' Dunk gives the ball away in a dangerous position, but Southampton can't capitalise on it as a poor cross is easily dealt with.
50' Salisu sends another long throw into the box, but a couple of Brighton defenders combine to clear it.
48' A vital tackle from Veltman takes the ball off the toes of Long, after Romeu slid a clever pass through to the striker.
46' The hosts get us back underway for the second period.
Will Hasenhuttl call upon the likes of Broja and Elyounoussi off the bench to get his side back into the game?
After a lively first half, the Seagulls go into the break with a 2-1 lead. They were ahead after just two minutes, when Welbeck tapped in after Forster fumbled a Cucurella cross. The game was stopped for a lengthy delay, after Livramento was stretchered off after suffering what looked to be a serious injury. Things got worse for the Saints after 44 minutes, when Salisu inadvertently toed the ball past his own goalkeeper as he tried to intercept a Trossard pass. They did pull a goal back on the stroke of half-time though, with Ward-Prowse curling a brilliant free-kick off the post and into the back of the net to make it 2-1.
J. Ward-Prowse
45' + 4' Ward-Prowse has done it again!!! He pulls a goal back for the visitors with yet another sublime free-kick, as he curls his shot off the post and into the back of the net to make it 2-1.
Marc Cucurella
Yellow Card
45' + 3' Cucurella is booked for bringing down Tella, and the Saints have a free-kick in a great shooting position. Set-piece specialist Ward-Prowse is standing over it.
45' + 2' Some lovely one-touch passing looks to get Brighton into a dangerous position, but Trossard takes a heavy touch and the ball goes out for a throw-in.
45' There will be five minutes of additional time at the end of this first half.
M. Salisu
Own Goal
44' It's 2-0!!! It's an own goal from Salisu, as he tried to cut out a Trossard through ball. The centre-back tries to intercept it, but the ball comes off his foot and goes into the far corner past Forster to double the home side's advantage.
43' How has that not gone in!?!? A low cross by Mac Allister reaches Welbeck, who tries to flick it into the back of the net. Forster saves it, and there's a scramble for the ball as Welbeck tries to thump it in. The Southampton goalkeeper just does enough to keep it out, before his defenders finally get it clear.
42' The injury to Livramento has just killed the momentum of the game a little, as both sides try to settle back into the match after the stoppage.
40' Mwepu gets in down the right and tries to cross, but he badly slices it and Forster watches it go over his crossbar.
38' Perraud's first action of the game is wildly overhitting a cross, sending it flying behind for a goal-kick.
R. Perraud
V. Livramento
37' Perraud comes on to replace the injured Livramento.
34' The Southampton right-back was trying to dispossess Mwepu, but looks to have jarred his knee while doing so. The stretcher has come onto the pitch, and he will be taken off shortly.
32' Livramento is down in midfield clutching at his leg, and it doesn't look good for the young full-back as both sets of players call for medical attention straight away.
30' Ward-Prowse teases a cross into the box, though Sanchez does well to come and collect it with a couple of Southampton players ready to pounce.
27' Lovely link-up play between Mac Allister and Welbeck ends with the latter floating a cross into the box. Maupay is in the middle, but the ball is just out of his reach.
25' What a tackle! Mwepu is played in down the right side of the box and shapes to shoot, but Walker-Peters slides and pokes the ball behind for a corner just in time.
23' Caicedo is momentarily down after his foot is stood on by Romeu, but the Ecuadorian midfielder is back up and playing.
22' Ward-Prowse swings a corner into a dangerous area, but Webster is well-placed to smash it clear.
20' Salisu launches a long throw into the box, but Sanchez is alert to rush out of his goal and catch it before any Saints player can get a header at goal.
18' Maupay has the ball in the net after a Mac Allister corner was headed at goal by Dunk, but the striker is offside and the goal doesn't stand.
16' The Saints have won their last three away Premier League games against Brighton.
14' Welbeck tries to add his second goal of the game, but his drive from a tight angle is pushed behind by Forster.
14' Off the post!!! Livramento fires at goal from distance, and his deflected effort comes back off the frame of the goal. The ball then hits Sanchez and nearly goes straight to Adams, but the ball is agonisingly just out of his reach.
12' Long heads at goal from a Ward-Prowse cross, but he just has to reach back for it a little and Sanchez easily catches the soft header.
10' The hosts have only won one of their nine Premier League meetings with Southampton, but they are off to a good start here.
8' A Cucurella free-kick leads to more shaky defending from the visitors, but they are eventually able to clear their lines.
6' Veltman does well to hack the ball clear, after a cross was nodded on by Adams into a dangerous area.
4' Long chases after a through ball, before firing at goal. It's a tame effort though, and Sanchez is able to easily collect.
D. Welbeck
2' The hosts are in front!!! It's a lightning-quick start for Brighton, who lead after just two minutes. Cucurella drills a low cross into the box, and Forster fumbles it. The ball sits up perfectly for Welbeck to tap into the empty net to make it 1-0.
1' The visitors kick us off and we are underway.
The two teams make their way onto the pitch ahead of kick-off.
Visiting boss Ralph Hasenhuttl goes with six alterations from the team that lost to Burnley last time out, with Adams and Long preferred to Broja and Elyounoussi in attack. Salisu and Livramento come into the defence, while Tella and Redmond start.
Home manager Graham Potter makes three changes from the defeat at Manchester City, as Webster comes into the defence while Maupay will partner Welbeck up top. Trossard is the other player chosen to start as March and Gross drop to the bench, with Tariq Lamptey a notable absence.

The hosts come into this game placed 12th in the league, after a run of three games without defeat was ended by a 3-0 loss at Manchester City last time out. The Seagulls will move into the top half with a win here.
