Peter Shalulile & Themba Zwane, Mamelpdi Sundowns, April 2022
Masandawana maintained their electrifying form as they claimed a 6-0 win over Abafana Bes'thende in a PSL match on Tuesday afternoon.

GOAL runs the rule over the individual performances of Masandawana players after the team registered its seventh consecutive win across all competitions.

  • Denis Onyango, Mamelodi Sundowns, October 2021

    Denis Onyango - 6/10

Marked his return to the team by keeping his 10th clean sheet of the season in the league.

The accomplished custodian had a relatively easy outing, as Arrows failed to keep their shots on target.

However, Onyango was rooted to the ground when Nduduzi Sibiya's shot shaved the outside of his right upright in stoppage time.

  • Khuliso Mudau, Mamelodi Sundowns, February 2022

    Khuliso Mudau - 6.5/10

Drifted in and out of the game.

Mudau did make one excellent run down the byline in the first half before setting up a great chance for hat-trick hero Peter Shalulile.

  • Lyle Lakay, Mamelodi Sundowns, February 2022

    Lyle Lakay - 7/10

Proved to be an attacking threat for the Tshwane giants.

Lakay provided the assist for Downs' second goal and he also did well to contain the skillful Siboniso Conco.

  • Mosa Lebusa, Mamelodi Sundowns, September 2021

    Mose Lebusa - 7.5/10

A good defensive display by the experienced defender.

Lebusa was also a threat at the other end of the pitch - setting up Gaston Sirino for the opening goal and he also had a shot blocked on the goal-line.

  • Brian Mandela, Mamelodi Sundowns, February 2022

    Brian Mandela - 7/10

The busier of Downs' two centre-backs defensively.

Mandela kept Arrows' star forward Knox Mutizwa very quiet and he won most of his ground and aerial duels

  • Andile Jali, Mamelodi Sundowns, September 2021

    Andile Jali - 7/10

Gave an action-packed display at both ends of the field.

Jali controlled proceedings in the middle of the park against Arrows and also did well as he shielded the hosts' defence.

  • George Maluleka of Mamelodi Sundowns.

    George Maluleka - 6.5/10

Not as involved in the game as his midfield partner Jali.

However, Maluleka's passing was good and pushed his side forward with a few accurate long balls.

  • Gaston Sirino, Mamelodi Sundowns, March 2022

    Gaston Sirino - 7.5/10

    Slowly regaining his old form.

Sirino pressed well, made line-breaking passes and opened the scoring with a fine strike from close range.

  • Themba Zwane, Mamelodi Sundowns, October 2021

    Themba Zwane - 8.5/10

Full of energy, purpose and vision on the day.

Zwane was a thorn in Arrows' face and bagged two assists as a reward for his creativity against Abafana Bes'thende.

  • Bradley Ralani, Mamelodi Sundowns, March 2022

    Bradley Ralani - 6.5/10

Did not score, but deserves credit for a great work ethic.

  • Peter Shalulile, Mamelodi Sundowns, December 2021

    Peter Shalulile - 9.5/10

Cannot stop scoring at the moment - six goals in two matches.

Shalulile linked up well with his attacking partners and he was also ruthless in front of goal - scoring three well-taken goals to take his tally to 21 in the PSL this term.

  • Pavol Safranko, Mamelodi Sundowns, August 2021

    Pavol Safranko - 6.5/10

He went about his business as usual after coming on in the 64th minute.

Safranko got himself in goalscoring positions and he took his goal very well - making it two goals in as many matches.

  • Neo Maema

    Neo Maema - 5/10

Came on at the same time as Safranko and he barely offered any attacking threat.

Arrows did well to contain Maema, who tormented Abafana Bes'thende in the first round league clash last year.

  • Mothobi Mvala, Mamelpdi Sundowns, April 2022

    Mothobi Mvala - 6/10

Replaced Jali in the 73rd minute and he made some interceptions and tackles to halt most of Arrows attacks in midfield.

    Lebohang Maboe - 6/10

Brought a lot of energy and flair into Downs game with his dribbling skills having been introduced in the 73rd minute.

He was involved in the build-up to Kermit Erasmus' goal.

  • Kermit Erasmus, Mamelodi Sundowns, April 2022

    Kermit Erasmus - 6.5/10

Introduced in the 78th minute and he became an instant threat to the Arrows defence which saw him score Downs' fifth goal.
