Keagan Dolly Khama Billiat
The Durban side recovered from going a goal down at the Princess Magogo Stadium on Wednesday to claim a 2-1 win over Amakhosi

Kaizer Chiefs' former Mamelodi Sundowns trio Leonardo Castro, Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly were among the better performers in the defeat to Golden Arrows.

  • Brandon Petersen, Kaizer Chiefs, August 2021

    GOALKEEPER: Brandon Petersen - 5

Not directly at fault for either goal, but put Njabulo Ngcobo under pressure with a pass that led to the first, and was beaten at his near post for the second.

  • Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Kaizer Chiefs, August 2021

    RIGHT-BACK: Ramahlwe Mphahlele - 6

Struggled at times with the pace of the Arrows defence but had a reasonable game before being subbed on the hour mark.

  • Siyabonga Ngezana, Kaizer Chiefs, December 2021

    CENTRE-BACK: Siyabonga Ngezana - 6

A mixed afternoon - at times he too struggled with Arrows' pace and skill, but for the most part, it was a committed and commanding display.

  • Njabulo Ngcobo, Kaizer Chiefs, September 2021

    CENTRE-BACK: Njabulo Ngcobo - 4

Made some good challenges in the opening half, but it was his mistake which led directly to first goal and things went badly downhill from then.

  • Reeve Frosler, Kaizer Chiefs, November 2021

    LEFT-BACK: Reeve Frosler - 5

A quiet game, not much was seen of Frosler on attack and he too found it difficult to deal with Abafana bes'Thende's wide men.

  • Nkosingiphile Ngcobo of Kaizer Chiefs, September 2021,

RIGHT WING: Nkosingiphile Ngcobo - 6

Had his moments, and played his part in Chiefs' goal, but he drifted in and out the game and was subbed on the hour mark.

  • Cole Alexander, Kaizer Chiefs, August 2021

    CENTRE-MID: Cole Alexander - 5

Grafted hard but didn't create much going forward, and was one of several Chiefs midfielders over-run by Arrows in the second half

  • Njabulo Blom, Kaizer Chiefs, November 2021

    CENTRE-MID: Njabulo Blom - 6

Chiefs looked shaky in midfield after Blom was moved to right-back in the second half - testament to his good work in the engine room. Was also solid in defence - most of Arrows attacks came down the other flank.

  • Keagan Dolly, Kaizer Chiefs, August, 2021

    CENTRE-MID: Keagan Dolly - 6

Had some nice moments, worked hard, was at the heart of everything - but was not quite as influential as Chiefs would have liked in terms of chances in and around goal.

  • Khama Billiat, Kaizer Chiefs, February 2022

LEFT WING: Khama Billiat - 7

Intelligent, industrious, energetic, Billiat took his goal brilliantly and remains Chiefs' best bet to get on the score-sheet.

  • Leonardo Castro, Kaizer Chiefs, December 2021

    STRIKER: Leonardo Castro - 7

Combined superbly with former Mamelodi Sundowns team-mates Billiat and Dolly and assisted delightfully for Billiat's goal. Worked hard as the target man.

  • Kearyn Baccus of Kaizer Chiefs, November 2021

    SUBSTITUTE: Kearyn Baccus - 5

Baccus came on for Mphahlele in the 58th minute but struggled to assert himself at a time in which Arrows took control of the game.

  • Dumisani Zuma, Kaizer Chiefs, April 2022

    SUBSTITUTE: Dumisani Zuma - 6

Zuma played 32 minutes after replacing Nkosingiphile Ngcobo. He had one or two promising moments, including a shot on goal.

  • Samir Nurkovic of Kaizer Chiefs, August 2021

    SUBSTITUTE: Samir Nurkovic - 4

Replaced Castro in the 72nd minute but looked uninspired with some unsure touches.
