The former Rayon Sports coach replaced Steven Polack, who initially took a 10-day holiday but failed to return before announcing this exit. However, the Brazilian did not last long.

He did not have the Caf A license needed to lead the team and could not oversee them in the Caf competitions. The tactician was released within four months, ending his stay with the Kenyan heavyweights.

  • Sammy Omollo of Gor Mahia and Tito Okello.

After the ex-Harambee Stars defender had been relieved of his duties at Posta Rangers, he came in at K'Ogalo as an assistant coach. He had to take charge of the team after Robertinho's exit on an interim basis.

With the club still in search of a coach, it was the 52-year-old who was in charge until the club found a suitable man to lead them in January 2021.

  • Gor Mahia coach Carlos Manuel Vaz Pinto.

On January 10, 2021, the former Kenyan champions officially unveiled the 47-year-old tactician Carlos Manuel Vaz Pinto as their new head coach. They felt he was the right man to steer the team forward. During his stay at the club, he won the FKF Shield Cup after defeating AFC Leopards in the final.

However, on July 10, without giving specific reasons, Gor Mahia confirmed they have parted ways with the former St George SC head coach by mutual consent. Later on, reports indicated the changes happened owing to financial struggles at the club.

  • Gor Mahia and Posta Rangers head coach Sammy Omollo.

Omollo, who is commonly referred to as 'Pamzo', had to step in and guide the team as the FKF Premier League record-holders intensified their search for the Portuguese coach's replacement.

He had to ensure the team was well prepared to finish the season on a high, but it was Tusker who eventually secured their 12th league title.

The former Southampton goalkeeper was appointed to head K'Ogalo at the beginning of the campaign. He was to help the team qualify for the group stage of the Caf Confederation Cup but they were eliminated by Otoho d'Oyo.

After a good start to the FKF Premier League, K'Ogalo lost footing along the way and started registering poor results. Harrison, Omollo and goalkeeping coach Jerim Onyango were eventually fired.

  • Tusker coach Paul Nkata

The Ugandan has been appointed to coach the team on an interim basis. Apart from Tusker, Nkata has also handled a number of Kenyan clubs, among them Muhoroni Youth, Nairobi City Stars, Kakamega Homeboyz, and Bandari.

His reign at Homeboyz ended prematurely after he was accused of alleged match-fixing, prompting the coach to resign and return to his native Uganda. Nkata will find Gor Mahia in position five on the 18-team table with 27 points from 16 matches, six behind table-toppers Homeboyz.
