FULL TIME: SYDNEY UNITED 58 0 MACARTHUR FC 2 - MACARTHUR FC ARE THE 2022 AUSTRALIA CUP CHAMPIONS! An electric final at CommBank Staidum comes to a thrilling conclusion. Sydney United 58 threw everything but the kitchen sink at Macarthur FC after half time and created a host of oppprtunities but in the end lacked the finishing power to make those chances count on the scoreboard. Macarthur FC were able to absorb the pressure and then made sure of the win in the 90th minute when Dávila, who was outstanding, fittingly converted his spot kick. The celebrations begin for Macarthur FC who collect their first piece of silverware whilst Sydney United 58 deserve plenty of plaudits for their thrilling campaign which has fallen just short at the final hurdle. Congratulations to Macarthur FC - the 2022 Australia Cup champions!

HALF TIME: SYDNEY UNITED 58 0 MACARTHUR FC 1 - A cracking opening 45 minutes comes to an end at CommBank Stadium! Macarthur FC completely dominated the early exchanges and, with Arzani running rampant, it appeared just a matter of time before the Sydney United defence would be breached. However, punching above their weight, Sydney United managed to work their way into the contest and create some opportunities of their own. The pivotal moment came in the 32nd minute when Davila was taken down in the penalty area and Al Hassan Toure buried the resultant penalty. If the first half is any indication, we are in for a thrilling second half!
