FULL TIME: AUSTRALIA 1 NEW ZEALAND 0 - Australia give the fans at Suncorp Stadium a fitting farewell with a victory in what was a free flowing contest right from the opening kick off! New Zealand gave an excellent account of themselves but ultimately were unable to break down the Australian defence. In the end, it was Awer Mabil's thunderous first half strike which proved to be the difference. Plenty to look forward to as attention turns to the return clash at Eden Park in Auckland next Sunday.
