The Socceroo made it three goals in four games for his German club with a smart finish opening the scoring

Australian winger Robbie Kruse continued his fine goal-scoring form with a clinical strike in Vfl Bochum 2-0 win over Ingolstadt in Bundesliga 2.

The former Melbourne Victory and Brisbane star scored the second goal in the match with a curled finish into the far corner after a defence-splitting pass from Kevin Stoger.

The 28-year-old now has three goals in his last four league matches as he hits top form in the lead-in to Australia's World Cup playoff with Syria - with the first leg to be played in Malaysia on October 5.

Kruse’s form has helped Bochum move up to 10th on the Bundesliga 2 table after eight matches.
