Suarez's pattern of play interests me, reveals Kwara’s Omodara

The forward disclosed that the Uruguayan's football style motivates him whenever he steps on the field of play

Muslim Secondary School forward, Temitope Omodara revealed that Barcelona forward Luis Suarez help his football.

Omodara was on target for the Ibadan regionals champions in their opening national finals fixture as they defeated Government Secondary School, Yobe 2-0 on Monday.

And the 14-year-old - though not a fan of the Catalan outfit - picked the 30-year-old attacker who finished second in the scorer's ranking with 29 goals in 35 league games in the just conluded Spanish La Liga season as his inspiration.

"Suarez inspires me alot, I like his pattern of play," Omodara told Goal

"The pattern of his play inspires me whenever I am on the field though I am not a Barcelona fan but I love the club because of Luis Suarez."

Omodara remains confident that his team can progress to the next stage and become the national champions after their opening day victory.

"We can lift the trophy here in Lagos because we have the focus and determination to be champions."
