Mohamed Salah has been nominated for the Uefa Champions League Player of the Week award for the first leg semi-final round following his blazing form against Roma on Tuesday night.

The 25-year-old scored twice and made two assists to help Jurgen Klopp’s men to a resounding 5-2 victory over the Italian outfit at Anfield.

The attacker will slug it out with Marcelo who also delivered an eye-catching performance in Real Madrid’s 2-1 win over Bayern Munich scoring the equalizer after succumbing to an early Joshua Kimmich’s effort.

The former Chelsea player will be aiming to win the award for the fourth time this season.
