The duo have both missed time with injury, but will come back for the team's two friendlies against Chile

Mallory Pugh and Kelley O'Hara were both named on the U.S. women's national team's roster for the team's upcoming friendlies against Chile.

Both players have recovered from long-term injuries. O'Hara, the team's starting right back, last played with the USWNT in March, while Pugh has been sidelined since April.

The U.S. has never faced Chile in international play, and will take on the South Americans in two matches in California: on Aug. 31 at StubHub Center near Los Angeles and on Sept. 4 at Avaya Stadium in San Jose.

Twenty of the players on the 23-woman roster were part of the USWNT squad that won the Tournament of Nations earlier this month.

The matches against Chile will be the team's final tune-ups before October's Concacaf Women's Championship, which serves as the qualifying tournament for the 2019 World Cup.
