Angola First Division giants Petro de Luanda have completed the signing of Hearts of Oak midfielder Isaac Mensah in a three-year deal, both clubs have confirmed.
The 22-year-old, who arrived at Hearts in 2012, has over the years developed into a fine player, becoming a cult hero at the Accra Sports Stadium due to his dribbling skills and speed.
"Ghanaian Isaac Mensah has joined us for three years and we are wishing him a good stay," a club statement read.
Mensah spoke about his ambitions and believes he is already feeling at home after meeting familiar faces in the club.
"This is a new beginning and I hope to make it a good one. I'm excited to arrive here and will show what I can do very soon," Mensah said.
"There are some faces I know and it's always good to have people you've met before who are ready to usher you into a new environment. I hope to make the fans happy when I'm given the opportunity to play," he added.
Mensah becomes the second Ghanaian player to arrive at the Estadio 11 de Novembro Luanda after former Hearts teammate Inusah Musah.
