It remains to be seen whether the Chilli Boys will purchase the dribbling wizard from the Buccaneers during the upcoming transfer window

Orlando Pirates loanee Thabo 'Jomo' Rakhale says he is open to extending his stay with Chippa United.

The attacking midfielder joined the Chilli Boys from Bucs on a short-term loan deal midway through the current campaign.

Rakhale was on the score sheet as Chippa held SuperSport United to a 1-1 stalemate in a Premier Soccer League (PSL) match at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium on Saturday.

Jomo, who battled for game time at Pirates, has stated that he feels welcomed at the Eastern Cape side having established himself as a regular.

“Yes, I would stay at Chippa because I am enjoying my football. The guys have been good to me," Rakhale told IOL.

"Everyone in the team welcomed me. I feel at home here and I am enjoying my game again. For now, I would love to see the team in the top 8," he continued.

The Chilli Boys are placed eighth on the league standings, but they are only ahead of 10th placed Bidvest Wits on goal-difference with one game left this season.

Vladislav Herić's side will lock horns with Polokwane City at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.

"The way we have been playing it’s promising that we can reach it. There’s only one area we need to improve which is scoring the goals," the 28-year-old explained.

"We get plenty of chances but we don’t score scores. In the past game (against Ajax Cape Town) we had about five chances," Jomo added.
