Orlando Pirates defender Marc Van Heerden is happy to be at home after spending 11 days in hospital.
According to Sport24, a reported bout of pneumonia derailed his season and that led to a lengthy stay in hospital before he was discharged on Monday.
The former AmaZulu left-back has made only two league appearances for Bucs this season.
His last appearance was against Lamontville Golden Arrows at the Orlando Stadium three weeks ago.
It remains to be seen if Van Heerden will be fit for Pirates' next league game which is against Free State Stars on Saturday.
The left-back took to Twitter to let his fans know that he's been discharged from hospital.
