Nakumatt FC left back John Njoroge is hopeful that the club will remain in the Kenyan Premier League at the end of the season despite a woeful start.

The left footed utility player has encouraged his teammates to put more effort for the achievement of the same in the coming matches.

“For sure we don’t have other options now but to put more effort in every match ahead so as we can get ourselves out of the (relegation) position,” Njoroge told Goal on Thursday.

The former Tusker, Nairobi City Stars and Sofapaka man has further revealed that the club is now getting monitory motivation from the new owner Francis Mureithi, who took charge early this month.
