Young Africans Head Coach, George Lwandamina has confirmed that striker Donald Ngoma could play a part against Welayta Dicha in the Confederation Cup on Saturday.
Ngoma was sidelined due to a knee injury since October last year and he joined the team's full training session last week.
Speaking to Goal, Lwandamina revealed that the striker is doing well in the training and there is a chance of him featuring in the Confederation Cup first leg.
“He is doing well in training and he could play a part, but we still have to confirm with our medical team if he will be ready,” said Lwandamina.
Yanga will play host to Ethiopia’s Welayta Dicha on April 6 and they will be without several key players such as Obrey Chirwa, Pappy Tshishimbi and Juma Said who are ineligible to play due to suspension.
