Roberto Firmino has said that the ‘great unity’ between Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and himself is the secret to their impressive form for Liverpool this season.
Firmino set up Salah’s first-half goals while the Egyptian, in turn, assisted the forward's first effort after helping Mane grab Liverpool's third.
The Brazil international rounded up Jurgen Klopp's men assault before the visitors tried a comeback through Edin Dzeko and Diego Perotti.
Hitting five past Eusebio Di Francesco's side took their tally to a combined 88 goals across all competitions this term.
“Teamwork [and] we have great unity, not just up front but when it comes to defending too and we're working well together, and I think that's the main reason,” Firmino told Echo.
“I hope that we can carry on in this way.”
The trio will be looking to continue the understanding between them when Liverpool take on Stoke City in Saturday’s English Premier League game.
