Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has promised the club's transfer spending will not be overly affected by the imminent move into their new stadium.

The club have made no new signings in the last two windows but Mauricio Pochettino has taken the club into third in the Premier League and the Champions League quarter-finals.

Speaking at a supporters' trust meeting with the Spurs board, Levy confirmed that even with a £637 million worth of debt, the rate of incomings will not change.

Milan want Bakayoko on permanent deal

Benfica defender Joao Felix is content with the Portuguese giants despite interest from the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool.

But the teenager told Marca: "My dream has always been to play for the big teams and in the big competitions. But I’m here and I’m very happy with Benfica, which, like those teams, is also a big one in Europe."

Bent keen on Celtic or Rangers move

Former England striker Darren Bent would be interested in a return to the game with Celtic or Rangers.

The 35-year-old is without a club since being released by Derby County at the end of last season.

Bent has no intention of retiring a move north of the border would be attractive.

Speaking to Sky Sports' Goals on Sunday programme, he said: “It’s something I’ve looked at before, had a couple of links there. I think Celtic back in the day, but the timing wasn’t great for me because things were going pretty well down here.

“It’s something I’ve looked at, obviously a league that is fascinating. You talk about Rangers and Celtic, you’re talking about arguably two of the biggest clubs in world football, so it’s definitely something I would do, yeah.”

The striker can also operate as a winger, bringing an additional versatility as an attacking option to any side.

Barcelona are not contemplating a deal for Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann despite the Frenchman offering himself to the club, per ESPN.

The Catalan outfit were reported to be interested in the France international and World Cup winner earlier after speculation broke that he would exit the La Liga club in the wake of their Champions League capitulation.

However, Ernesto Valverde’s side are now no longer reportedly interested in signing the striker, despite almost bringing him aboard last year.

Burnley want Chelsea youngster on loan

The Mirror reports the Turf Moor side want to snap up the 19-year-old right-back, who is already wanted by Crystal Palace and Brighton.

Monchi left Sevilla to join Roma two years ago but his time in Italy did not go as smoothly as anticipated and he was soon linked with a move away.

Valencia could leave Man Utd for Arsenal

Antonio Valencia will leave Manchester United at the end of the season and could end up joining Arsenal, his agent and father said.

The Ecuador international's contract expires at the end of the season and has been linked with the likes of Inter, West Ham and clubs in China.

His agent says he will definitely leave Old Trafford this summer, highlighting Arsenal as a potential destination.

"He wants a change in the air and the club is not going to renew him either. Like everything in life, everything comes to an end," he told El Universo. "Arsenal, West Ham, Inter Milan and one club from China are options, but in football everything is changing."
