Thika United will miss the services of midfielder Michael Mutinda when they face Ushuru on Sunday.
The milkmen lost the influential midfielder in the first leg, after he suffered an ankle injury that has unfortunately turned out to be a nasty one. Reports from Thika indicates that Mutinda will be out for up to three months, meaning he will miss the start of the season.
Thika come into the match with a slender 2-1 lead, and coach Nicholas Muyoti is cautious ahead of the second leg, "The second leg is definitely going to be tougher, we have to ensure we double our efforts and get a result that will enable us stay in the top tier."
The winner between the two sides will play in the Kenyan Premier League next season, with the loser taking part in the National Super League.
