Sofapaka coach John Baraza says he was confident his team will bag maximum points against Ulinzi Stars last weekend.

Goals from Umaru Kasumba and Kepha Aswani reduced Elvis Nandwa's strike to a mere consolation, as the 2009 league champions went level on points with the soldiers. The tactician hopes the victory will push his side to do even better in the coming matches, with the title still within reach.

“The spirit was high before the match, the players promised they will deliver and they did just that. We knew we will beat them (Ulinzi Stars) and I am happy it happened. The week has gone well for us, we had adequate training sessions and I am happy our tactics worked.

“We are now focusing on the upcoming matches aiming at getting maximum points,” Baraza told Goal.

Batoto ba Mungu are currently placed third on the log with seventeen points.
