The 24-year-old made her international debut for Nigeria against Mali in an All African Games qualifier on March 22, 2015 and also made the squad to the 2015 Women's World Cup in Canada.
And the excited forward has reflected on her international journey, while expressing her determination to fulfill his dreams of making the final squad to France in June.
“It was a really good outing at the Cyprus Women's Cup," Umotong told The Argus.
“It was a great opportunity, great experience and we had four competitive games to help us prepare for the Women's World Cup.
“I played three games and I think I was happy how it went. I gelled well with the team and feel more of a part of the system and how the coach wants us to play.
“That’s the goal. I want to be on that final list. I have no idea whether I will make it but I’m doing everything I can."
