Goal's Asian Player of the Week - FC Goa's Edu Bedia

The 29-year-old was in sensational form against Delhi Dynamos FC...

FC Goa bounced back from their defeat to Jamshedpur FC with a thrilling 3-2 win over Delhi Dynamos on Thursday.

The Gaurs had to stage a comeback against the Delhi side and had Edu Bedia to thank for their win. The midfielder scored two goals and the second was a late winner.

After going a goal behind, the Gaurs equalised less than ten minutes into the second half. Boumous released Mandar Rao Dessai on the left and the FC Goa skipper's low cross into the box was slotted home by Bedia.

Later, with the game locked at 2-2, a Hugo Boumous free-kick into the centre of the box was guided into the net with a glancing header by Edu Bedia to send the Gaurs supporters into delirium.

His influence was absolutely brilliant for FC Goa and he is rightly named as Goal's Asian Player of the Week!
