Gor Mahia will be hosting Rwanda's Rayon Sports mid this month in a Group D Caf Confederation Cup match scheduled for Kasarani.
The two sides played out to a one all draw in the first leg and K’Ogalo will need a point to guarantee their place in the quarter-finals of the competition, with Rayon Sports needing a win to have a chance of making it.
Dylan Kerr: “This is an opportunity for us to progress to the quarter finals and we have to take it. It is a must win for us, we have to beat them (Rayon) at home. Our main target is to finish top of the group and that is what we are going for.” @legend3 pic.twitter.com/nhXoB0jU7C— Goal.com Kenya (@GoalcomKenya) August 1, 2018
Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr says his side has to win the match against their visitors.
“This is an opportunity for us to progress to the quarter-finals and we have to take it. It is a must win for us, we have to beat them (Rayon) at home and ensure we get in the next stage. Our main target is to finish top of the group and that is what we are going for.
“It will not be easy, Rayon is a good team but I know my players and the quality they have, I have faith in them,” Kerr told Goal.
Gor Mahia leads Group D with eight points, same as second placed USM Alger, who have an inferior goal difference. Rayon have three points with Yanga tailing the Group with a single point.
